THIS WAS THE WORST SERVICE I RECEIVED ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. After 6 months, 4 continents and 12 countries i was shocked at how bad this was. Their system DOESN'T ACCEPT BRITISH CREDIT CARDS. However instead of just admitting that they lied for 3 days and blamed me and my bank. This ended in a quite heated conversation. I would not advise anyone to stay here or if you are pay in american dollars on arrival. On the other hand. this is a perfect place for people on budgets to party!

We made the booking on hostel world for a triple room and it clearly stated that there were three beds. However, on arriving at the hotel, we were informed that they did not have any triple rooms but instead one double and one single bed so two people had to share. On informing the receptionist that they advertised a triple room, they first denied it . On showing them our confirmation, they then tried to blame hostel world for false advertising and not their fault. They refused to listen to us.

Hotel was wornout! Nothing had been done since the early seventeens!! There's no beach infront as the picure shows. There was some bugs on our sofa! We like to stay at budget hotels but this is no value for money.

My stay at Imperial Laguna was perfect! The staff was friendly and very charming, especially Eddy, the manager of the hotel! He called about 50 restaurants in town to ensure us the best Christmas dinner in Cancun, and he did a great job! The hotel is directly situated at the lagoon, where the famous crocodile "Pedro Sardoy" lives!!! Next to the lagoon there is a palapa- the "palapa belga", which is probably the best palapa in Cancun! The dinners we had there were excellent and not too expensive.
