Great place, convenient and good crowd for the solo traveller.

That was the first night in Ubud, the staff and receptionist were ok. The bed I was about to sleep on was full of sand, dust and dirt which was a good surprise to me. I didn't check it before the receptionist was still there thus that time was too late to get any fix. I had no choice but to squeezed to my friend's bed and spent a unpleasant night there. Would recommend other hostels rather than this one to people who just wanna a comfy bed and quiet place after a long tiring travelling day.

I loved this hostel! It is at a great location on the end of the Main Street of Ubud. The facilities are great, there is a bar with delicious sandwiches and other food. The staff is super friendly and willing to help you out with anything! Great atmosphere as everyone hangs out at the lounge area. I will def go back to this hostel some day!

Great place to meet people in Ubud, brilliant area to chill out + hammocks in the garden!

Really nice staff! Would remember my name all the time. Loved the outdoorarea. Shower sometimes warm, sometimes cold. Didnt like the fakt there is just one bathroom fo a 9bed dorm. They are just building a pool. Really nice!

Check in process is such a breeze and Dewa from reception is really accommodating. Facilities are nice and comfortable although wifi is mostly in the common area, which is a great place to meet fellow travelers. You get more than what you pay for. "Cafe" opens at 7am so plan your breakfast accorddingly. Overall, had a pleasant stay in this hostel.

Good atmosphere. Wish it included free breakfast. 4 bed private was large and spacious- but a little old/could use some renovating. Overall: a nice stay and good hostel.

Really cool place to hang, the staff are s friendly and the food and bar isn't too pricey

Dumb name but the hostel is actually nice, although a bit hard to find. Bamboo bunk beds are clean, comfy but squeak a little. Outdoor common area is nice. There is a nice little garden too. One thing i need to compliment is their food! Good cheese omelette and nasi goreng. Staff are in general helpful. Only thing is that blacket in room is a thin sheet, I got really cold at night and had to buy my own blanket. The staff was nice enought to give me 2 extra sheets but still wasn't enough.

Couldn't rate this hostel more highly. It is very social with a great atmosphere, awesome lounge area, welcoming and very helpful staff. The rooms are fine, no ac but cieling fans help and it was never too hot. It is in a good location and trips and activities can be booked through and get picked up from the hostel itself. Will definitely be going back when I'm in Ubud again.

Pretty cheap and well located the staff was nice, would have been good if there was AC in the dorms but the fans were alright. Good place to meet people and Ubud is a nice city to spend time in.

The patio area is the big sell here: long, comfy couches, movie nights and a decent kitchen. The dorms, however, have no locks on the doors, and even with the ceiling fans on full-blast it gets hot--especially the top bunks. The bathrooms were a bit grungy, too, and there was only one bathroom per dorm room. For the price though, it's still probably the best place to stay in Ubud; the staff can set up so many excursions (try the cooking class!) and the lounge is a great place to meet people.

Bathrooms are the worst bathrooms I have had in six months. Shower was either really hot or really cold. No mirror in the bathroom. One of those bathrooms you just are grossed out by and you feel like you should wear shoes. The mattresses were so uncomfortable; I could feel every spring. No air-conditioning and it was soooo hot. Everyone kept talking about how bad the hostel was and how hot the rooms were but there isn't really a better option in Ubud. Only good part was the social area.

nice place , very clean.I just did not like the horrible music selection in the lounge area. it is supposed to be a place to relax!

In da lodge has a fantastic atmosphere, it is chilled, clean, comfortable and friendly. The food is incredible and very cheap. The beds were great and the rooms spacious. Would have loved some air con as ubud was ridiculously humid but there were fans. Would most definitely stay here again

Amazing place. Staff exceedingly friendly and helpful and great atmosphere. We were not expecting it to be so pretty considering the low price. Would love to stay here again!

In Da Lodge, though I hate the name, was a perfect choice. Easy to meet people, comfortable for lazing around if you don't feel like touring, and easy to set up adventures if you do. There aren't locks on the doors and the lockers are only big enough for a few of your prized possessions, but the vibe of the place felt secure enough. I didn't consider this to be "out of town" at all - just walk outside and a few feet and you're right at the market. If you want AC and no ants ever, go to a hotel.

By far the best hostel I stayed at in all of Bali - In Da Lodge is extremely cheap, is right in the heart of Ubud city, the staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgable and willing to help. The atmosphere is great as the main social area is extremely inviting to meet new people. The beds are clean and comfy. My only complaint is that the Wifi is a bit finnicky (standard with a lot of SEA) and the hot water wasn't working when I was there, despite asking for it to be fixed. Overall, excellent.

The rooster woke us up every morning about 5-6 a clock so not much of a sleep there. Staff friendly and help full. They had movie nights that was a nice surprise. Location on the outskirts of Ubud but on the main road so not a long walk to all the buzz and fuzz :)

Excellent hostel and staff, great lounge area.
