In&basic Hostel Lounge Reviews

Very clean bedrooms and bathrooms. Nice lounge area. The owners were very nice, a little too nice. Cons: Not even a fan in the room. A small room with bunk beds is not really an issue. But a small room with 4 people and no air circulation makes for a very uncomfortable night. Nice place, great potential

Clean and extremely helpful staff! Good kitchen with everything you need in it (they even have a garlic press and a smoothie machine.....whaaaa? so cool).

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the country and what to do here! I would recommend this hostel to people planning on going to costa rica in the future

Ron and Karlis are great! The location is safe, but far from anything notable in San Jose. Still, a very friendly hostel with a great vibe.

Lovely owners, very helpful and friendly. Lots of lone travellers here but so friendly that never really on own! Very clean facilities. Breakfast of pancakes was yum.

Everything was clean and the hostel was very well organized. It was a very cozy and relaxed atmosphere inside. We only stayed a night, but it was a very restful night and I would stay here again. I also appreciated the staff's advice on places to eat close by.

I did passed a good night and day at The In&Basic Hostal...people there is quitte nice and helpfull; The Owners Ron & Karlis were a perfect pair of guides and friends, their hospitalitty is amazing! ...Great Breakfast and Pizzas!!!! San Pedro Los Yoses is a safe place to walk around and sleep! ...I will return in a few days!!! GREAT CHOICE!!!

I enjoyed the stay at In&Basik Hostel. The Staff was very nice and helpful. The pancakes are awesome! Some more information about cheaper Tours would have been good.

In terms of cleanliness and kindness of the staff this hostel cannot be beat. Everyone was willing to help and the facilities were all well kept. Without question, I would stay at this hostel again. When I was there it was a weeknight and while I would not say the atmosphere was wild, it was still very lively with a fair number of people being about. Overall very enjoyable experience and one of the if not the best hostel I stayed in.

Nice hostel in a very calm and safe area. Owners are hospitable and helpful. The only thing u needed to know is that they close the gate at 10pm, which is not handy.

I have been travelling for 7 months around South and Central America and this hostel would have to be in one of my top five hostels I have stayed in.
