We have enjoyed stayment in this hostel during our travels. Because of misfortunate it was rainy and really quite cold inside but owner had given us a heater into our room which helped us a lot. Such gesture we really appreciated and I will go again into this hostel once Cordoba is in plan again in future!

Nice rooms, good beds, awesome roof terrace with great views, friendly staff and great food next door. All you can ask for in a hostel, really...

This is a wonderful hostel in Cordoba. The owner Kevin is very helpful. Gave me a lot of tips for getting around in the city. Its just a few minutes away from the mezquita and directly at the river. The hostel is a very nice building. The room was spacious and really nicely decorated. The kitchen was great as well as the terrace on the roof, especially for drying my clothes after washing. I highly recommend this place!

Great location, very central, easy to walk to everything, next to the bus stop to go direct to the train station. Owner was there when I arrived but strangely didn't say who he was but passed me to a friendly and enthusiastic French student, who was helping him out. I was on the ground floor where for 2 nights I was the only person. Security good but lighting dim to unlock all the doors. No natural lighting or windows atall to ground floor rooms. Wins on location but otherwise average.

i am disapointed with your review. all rooms have windows. ALL. your negative vibes made us all uneasy, don't try to blame anyone else.

Excellent location for visiting the old town of Córdoba. Staff (Kevan) very friendly and helpful. I didn't like my room as it had another bed nailed to the wall in a bunk bed style but all the other rooms I saw were lovely. Bathroom could do with an upgrade. Enjoyed my stay very much.

You don"t have to go there to meet people. That's why name of the hostel is "Independant" ! Well located, the staff is giving a lot of recommendations that is really appreciable ! Is missing a common room where you can sit somewhere and relax.

Kevan is a real hostel-father, thank you for all the helpful informations and the kindness. The roofterrasse is wonderful to relax, to enjoy sun and the riverview. You can realy feel at home, if you don`t mind, that the light in the room is not very bright, that you have to be tolerant with other guests and that there is not so much privacy. The hostals location is great, you can reach it by bus 3 directly from the station Renfe or bus and you can walk by foot to all interesting areas in Cordoba

By far the best hostel I've ever stayed in - clean, spacious rooms, all with windows and numerous power points, fully-equipped kitchens on every floor so no queuing up to cook and loads of space in the fridge for cava! Brilliant location right on the river with a huge, sunny roof terrace, easily accessed by public transport. Good mix of guests of all ages, from all over so a great atmosphere, and brilliant owner Kevan genuinely wants to make your stay fun and comfortable. Plus exceptional value!

Kevan gave us great info and the room was very very nice. Also the terrace is great. Only problem was that at first there was no hot water, but then it was fixed.

Good hostel in a good location, easy to find, easy to find parking great info given, really organised. Few minor points - really poor lighting in the rooms - couldn't read a book before bed, also no power point that was accessible in the room - 3 people with an average of 3 chargeable items had to use the bathroom and kitchen. No soap in bathrooms, and 2 euros for towels was a bit much.

Very well located, with a bus stop right in front which is very convenient to come and go. Very close to the main attractions of Cordoba: the Cathedral, the Jewish Quarter and the Real Alcazar. Kevan is very nice, and gives very good instructions on where to go and what to do in Cordoba. clean and comfortable, I was only one week-day and I had not the opportunity to experience the atmosphere, but is close to bars and places to to have fun at night.

A really nice and relaxing place to stay, the hostel is located in a very good area, the bus stop is just outside the door, and a five minute walk to the center. Kevin is really nice and welcoming The Hostel is authentic, and has lots of charm. He gives good advice on what to see, the times and prices of entry. Somtimes this type of help and advice is missing is lots of the more modern type hostels. Cordoba is a lovely city, not expensive at all. Lots to see and do.

Amazing location, near the main tourist attractions (La Mezquina and El Alcazar) and nice bars. Cool bar to the left that is open for breakfast, food, tapas and drinks and there is a typical Spanish disco up the road! Bedroom was clean, tidy and cosy and the beds were really comfortable. Very little noise at night. Kevan was extremely helpful in terms of advice on what to do in Cordoba. Is perfect situation if you are going with friends or want time by yourself.
