Friendly staff, good clean hostel, a shame we felt let down when, on our last night, we were turfed off the terrace at midnight, despite being staying there quietly talking until 4am on previous nights. It's an ok hostel in a building with lots of character and a good location, and we were given lots of information of things to do when we first arrived.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Independent Travellers, it is really well located (you can walk everywhere in Cordoba) and Kevan, the owner, is a very relaxed guy who will help you with what you need when it comes to information about what to do, to see, to eat and to go out. The facilities are really ok and we really didn't have any problem whatsoever! Would stay there again for sure!

This hostel is fantastic! Kevan was so great and gave us tons of tips about what to see in the city. The rooms are clean, comfortable and really cute. The whole hostel has a great Andalucian feel to it. The kitchen was also awesome and made it really easy for us to eat in, while there were also great bars/restaurants close by.

A small hostel which feels more like a guest house and has a few private rooms. Large rooftop deck with river view is a highlight. There were very few visitors during my stay, and no activities, so it was hard to meet people. Staff was helpful though.

Enjoyed my time very much at this hostel. Kevan (owner)is obliging, gave suggestions on places to see & willingly answered any other queries i had. He even helped me with looking for accomdn & booking transport out of Cordoba. His hostel is CLEAN, homely, with lots of plants & brightly coloured furniture & walls. The terrace is beautifully done with lots of sofas, tables & chairs & the view from there over the river is beaut, particularly at the end of the day. I highly recommend this hostel.

Awesome place! Incredibly well decorated, the guy who runs the place is incredibly friendly and helpful, gave us a million things to do. Easy going nice place to hang out. Clean and comfortable. Only negative thing is that the kitchen a bit small. Easy to find and well situated!

Nice staff, he gives very useful information about the city, good location, good kitchen. The room was a bit dark (inspite of light bulb) and humid. The internet was very slow.

I wondered why there weren´t more people around, because this really is a great hostel! Located next to the river and just 5 minutes from the Mezquita, bus station right in front of your door which takes you to the train-/busterminal, thats totally great! My room was colourful and nice, kitchen is great and the rooftop-terrace is amazing with view to the roman bridge. The owner, Kevan, was so nice and told me where to go, great welcome also with the name on your board, felt like home. Thanks! :)

This guesthouse is in a very convenient location. It´s right along the river and a short distance from la mezquita. Kevan is very friendly and very knowledgeable about Córdoba. He provides you a map and basically helps you plan your days there. The guesthouse is extremely laidback and quiet. There is a beautiful view from the terrace. The best part is that bus stops right in front.

The owner was really kind and gave us full information about Córdoba (highlights, activities, food, nightlife, etc.). The hostel is a traditional house on the rivershore with plenty of common spaces (the penthouse is awesome with a marvellous view and lots of couches and tables where you can relax or start the party). The rooms are cosy and mattres and pillow confortable. The kitchen is fully equiped. Everything is clean and they make sure of that every day and the location is perfect. Enjoy it!

So charming! Very cute and well located right on the Guadalquivir river and minutes from the Mezquita. The owner, Kevan, was extremely helpful. He pointed out all the things to see and places to go; very kind and hospitable. Decent kitchens (there are 2) and absolutely beautiful rooftop terrace. Thanks for such a great stay in Cordoba!

Great location and touring advice! Full kitchen available for those of you interested in cooking. Doors to have a frosted glass, which could make some feel uncomfortable, however, it is not transparent. I would still have preferred a solid door. Sharing a bathroom with two people is also not bad, but waiting for your neighbors when you wake up and would like to brush your teeth can be a bit annoying, and we would´ve liked the door to the sitting room in front of our door shut at all times.

Excellent! I highly recommend this hostel! We arrived late at night but Kevan was ready to check us in & go over the highlights of the city with us. He pretty much planned out our weekend for us-letting us know everything from the times the main sites would have free admission to places we could eat all hours of the day! The beds were comfortable, the rooftop had a gorgeous view & the hostel is along the water but close to pretty much everything! Overall a fantastic experience & great price!

Super location right by the river and bus drops you off right in front of the hostal. Can walk anywhere and very close to tasty Bodegas Campos restaurant. Kevan is very helpful and gives you all the info you need to see the sights. The building is a bit chilly but area heater available and the blankets in my room kept me warm at night.

This is a great hostel in the old part of Cordoba, you don't have to venture far to feel you've arrived. Very easy to get to. Free computers with internet access and kitchens for cooking your own food, with a supermarket a short walk away. The roof terrace is a great retreat with nice views of the river out front. It has a very welcoming, homely feel. This is in part down to Kevan, who is always around and very helpful. It felt like home after a coupla days there. Highly recommended!

Great stay, the location is PERFECT. Kevan is a great guy how tells you were to go and what to do in Córdoba, if you have need of it. The roof-terrace is great, you have a nice view on the river. No breakfast, but you can get really cheap and good one's in a nice patio in some place around the corner. Would recommend to come in spring.
