They nickel and dime you for everything. The sheets and Wifi should be included in the total price rather than having to pay extra up front. I did not have a pleasant experience with the staff. My friend misplaced his passport and they made a joke about it rather than simply checking in the back office where it was the whole time. I understand they did not lose my friends passport, but rather than saying "bummer," making an effort to check could have saved three days of stress for us.

i was shocked the internet wasn't included in the price and was 5euros a day- rip off! Place is clean and breakfast good, but lacks the vibe- lots of big groups make socialising a bit difficult. Good location but a bit noisy at night (on main road and next to tube station)

The location is close to awesome Fredrichshain, and overall a good hostel and choice.

maybe this place is very good for young men. i do not why that the wifi is not free. well the location is very good

Very very good! No real backpacker bar or backpacker atmosphere as such but is in a Great location for the main clubs and a funky resturant pub area! Close to train station and east side gallary! great friendly hostel service! Clean rooms and bathrooms! Finally a good shower head!! Ill be back again!!

one of my favorite hostels! staff was great and everything was very clean. rooms are very big with plenty of space to stretch out. one day a security guard came to check on the room because a 'suspicious character' had been hanging out in our room. i felt super safe after that. location is excellent! right next to the U and S-bahn so you can get anywhere in berlin that you want with ease. a rather large hostel but still enjoyable. i would stay here again. lots of cool bars around as well

Very nice staff, good environment. Didn't enjoy the wi-fi policy, which weren't free, and unnavailiable in the rooms.

Very nice for the price - nice clean rooms, good transprotation and restaurants near by the hostel. Not so easy to get new frinds here.

Great location near bars, shops and restaurants, just next to the UBahn. Good value for money. I will stay again.

Just totally love every single detail of this hostel. Greatest thing is that it's just about 100metres to Suicide Circus, a great place to party!!!

The location of the hostel is good as it is located very close to both the train and the metro station.

Great clean accommodation, big rooms, clean white linen and good facilities. I didn't like that you had to pay to use the wifi.

Positive: clean,spacious room, excellent location next to public transport,east side gallery, shops etc. Negative: very unfriendly staff, unpersonal admosphere because its a huge building, not cosy, you have to pay for everything extra (bedsheets,wifi,breakfast). If you are with a group and looking for a clean and not too expensive place to stay in a good location I would recommend it. If you are a single traveller, looking for fun and meeting people dont go here.

The Industriepalast hostel is located just next door to the underground station and very close to the S-Bahn Warschauer Strasse. For most of the time I was alone in my 6-bed dorm which was very good. The showers were clean and the toilets as well. Breakfast costs 5 euros, internet you also have to pay for. The staff were nice and helpful!
