This hostel is simultaneously the best and one of the worst experiences you'll ever have, it was the grottiest place weve ever stayed - if you're looking for luxury its not for you ... but if youre looking to make amazing friends and have the best nights out ever then definitely come here - the staff are travellers too and they all go out with you on nights out and are amazing fun - honestly will never forget this place and thinking about asking for a job here next summer !

Look, we're 3 Irish lads who've been around the block. We've been to party hostels around the world so our expectations were fairly reasonable. Staff were incompetent, they took 2 hours to check us in. Beds were awful, rooms disgusting and showers didn't work. Broken glass everywhere. This would all be fine if the party was any good. It wasn't. There's better places out there guys, hope ye find them!

Hotel was the filthiest place I have ever stayed in. Neither the staff or guests seem to care about cleaning up garbage. Staff also seems to care more about partying then running a business. I made the mistake of paying for a night without insisting on a receipt, and this burnt me later because the staff forgot that I paid for a night.

Lively, fun, nice outdoor bar area in the day and evening. Only downside was that we weren't given fresh bedding when we arrived and the bed-situation was abit of a free for all! Other than that, we loved the nightlife and atmosphere.

we were two 20 year old female travelers. gals, it's not pretty, it definitely ain't clean- but I honestly wouldn't recommend any where else. if you're looking for a good time in Budapest ignore the negative comments, this is the ultimate party hostel- we met so many amazing people, everyone is so friendly, the staff go above and beyond to make sure you're included and have a good time. the mess etc is totally manageable for the fun you have!

The hostal has a great atmosphereand the people working there are very nice. If you want to sleep dont go there, if you want to have a good time and meet people from all over the world this is your place! The only bad thing was that it was too hot in the bedroom.

The hostel is pretty dirty, when we turned up there were beer cans everywhere. The guy at reception wasn't fussed about anything. Although location is good.

Would reccomend this place to any young solo traveler! The atmosphere was amazing, I didn't feel like I was there alone because of how friendly everyone was.

Staff are amazingly friendly. If you're looking for nights out in Budapest it's the place to go! The hostel has a pretty unique layout, and a bad just downstairs- perfect really. Located in the Jewish Quater which is ideal for nights out

If you want to live in a disgusting and run down night club then this is the place for you! Can't describe the conditions of this place in words....

it's a party hostel, and people here REALLY like to party. arrived at 2 in the arvo to folks still up drinking from the night before. a fairly cool balcony area for meeting people and pre drinking. showers were lackluster and power points were in inconvenient locations, plus the WiFi hardly worked, but all hostels have poor WiFi so can't complain. staff were perpetually stoned/inhebriated, but were still good to deal with and helpful

The hostel is good value for money. It's cheap. It was so hot when I was there and there was no air conditioning. Really suffered. It is DEFINTELY a party hostel- there was music blaring at all hours, including 8am one morning! If you're looking for a cheap place to stay, then stay here. It's in a good location above a bar and close to all the ruin bars.

Bad points first. The staff has occasional problems with being organized or disciplined, my room couldn't be locked, the kitchen had a turned-off fridge full of rotten food and you better be a deep sleeper, cause somebody will always play loud music. But the atmosphere is wonderful, everyone has a good time there and I loved the building, which is in the centre of clubs and restaurants. The staff are friendly and they sometimes go along the party events. It wasn't such a bad time.

The staff was surprisingly unhelpful. The light in our toilet room was out the entire stay. There was no key to our room. We simply had to leave the door open the entire stay. the place is fun if you love to party, but expect no help from the staff, and lackluster accommodation

It is a really nice hostel if you are looking for a place to party! It is not very clean, but if you are a young backpacker, that usually doesn't matter anyways. It was a fun experience, and i would like to come back sometime. The staff is so nice and cool!!

The bathroom was so gross it was scary. The staff seemed disorganized, every day coming in our room asking people for their names because they put someone in the wrong room. Music plays loudly until 4 AM. The "bed" is a piece of foam. I'm sure it's possible to find a better place to stay in Budapest that is similarly cheap.

You get what you pay for. Be prepared to spend at least 1 hour at check in. Also be prepared for staff to come in and out of the room being confused about who belongs where. They might move you. Also be prepared to use the direst bathroom ever and spend 1 hour fine tuning the shower to get a good temperature. Usually always ice cold though. Club downstairs is pretty lame and music stops at 4am. If you don't care and just want to party than this place is for you!

One of the best hostels we've ever stayed in. Staff is the best you can get , and the party scene is one you won't get any where else . always something happening each night.

quirky but very basic. Mattresses are think layers of sponge, one working toilet and shower between 24 people and stained bed sheets. The lack of security was a serious issue. There was one room key between the 8 people in our group AND another group of boys and we were advised to leave our door open so we could get in. Not good due to downstairs club and the very strange characters (including staff) lurking around. Had to wake a member of staff to check out as they were sleeping on duty. Not gd
