No wifi past the reception, no kitchen area to prep or cook food (although there is a microwave and a kettle). A plain building, quite. Very small rooms. Staff where polite but not very informative. Good if you just need a place to sleep on a budget, lacks atmosphere, but it I was impressed at the cleanliness of the entire building, especially bathrooms.

I've had a good time with my girlfriend in this hotel. It's organized, the breakfast is very cheap, the rooms are good and warm. The only bad things we experienced was that we couldn't smoke anywhere in the facilities, the wifi was only at the reception and there was a very rude woman at night that didn't help us with a simple thing. But anyways, it was a good stay. I'd recommend this place for friends.

Wi-Fi only available in the ground floor. So weak Wi-Fi one the 1st floor and no Wi-Fi on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Impossible to cook by your own

Overall the place was nice. We stayed in an 8 bed mixed, it was us 2 girls and 6 guys though. Beds were nice, rooms were clean. The major downside of this place was the staff, we were misinformed of a shuttle and there was one lady at the front desk with dark curly hair that was always rude and not nice at all.

Good location (near to Van Gogh Museum). 35-40 min walk distance(20 min with train) from Dam Square. Clean room. Very noisy and very hot in the room (11-13 December ) - like 30 degrees.

it was wonderful weekend. this hostel may best hostel which i stay. staffs are amazing. they are really friendly and helpful on everything. breakfast isnt icluded on my rezervation but its just 5 euro and it was amazing, too. internet is very good almost everywhere. guys ou have to choose this one!

Location was good near to museums and not a long walk to leidseplein and then on to the Dam Square, atmosphere strange seemed like a lot of groups staying, and not the most inviting common area. Room seemed clean but a bit of mould in the bathroom, overall good for budget accommodation in Amsterdam

I realize that Amsterdam is an expensive city so I understand the high prices but the value was unbelievable. The bathroom was so dirty and didn't have soap to wash our hands, staff would disappear for long periods of time even during the busiest times, and the wifi doesn't work in the rooms (there aren't outlets to charge your phone anyways). Only good thing was the location. Would absolutely not recommend this place!

no wifi for 5th floor

Price is more than a normal hostel. Ok, the room was a double room but really small and with no toilete inside. Next time I won't book here for sure.

Wi-fi doesn't work in the rooms; the blonde receptionist is not so welcoming, she was very limited in giving information.

Really nice guy on reception, very helpful. Great location for trams and getting around. Room was very hot but hay ho! Small mix up with beds but soon sorted out by staff and very nice staff. Great breakfast!

Only stayed here 2 nights over the weekend, so it was pricey but understandable. Good to use the cutlery and kettle. Nice big open common room. Rooms were a bit tight, nice to have a bathroom in the room though. Good location

Great hotel but very expensive . Also the breakfast

The Hostel was Ok. in our room was a strict fragrance but you get used to it. Wifi was only optimal when you were sat opposite the reception desk, if you went behind a wall then it slowed down considerably and if you went upstairs then it cut off completely. friendly reception and a good location of this hostel. all in all ok.

Decent place to stay, nothing too exciting. Good value for money.

I've spent 3 nights in a room for 6 with my friends. There was a safe for each person. One of the safes was not working. Our room had it's own bathroom which was nice and clean. The hostel also has a luggage room where you can leave your bags for the last day so that you don't need to carry them around the city. No smoking allowed in rooms (high penalty if you do). Bring power strip with you as there is less power sockets than people in room. No space for cooking or even making coffee/tea.

Very mixed experience with staff - one receptionist who was extremely friendly, and the other one who seemed to have written 'you are an idiot, do not come close to me' on her face.

The rooms are the smallest rooms I've ever seen. The bathroom was dirty and on the pillow case were a lot of black hair's. The WIFI was just in the dinning area working and not on the room The good thing was the cheap breakfast.

Good location, kinda nice facilities but toilet was smelly otherwise worth staying
