Although the hostel was good for what I needed, a place to sleep in Amsterdam for a reasonable price, I was cramped in a small room with 8 bunks. It was really hot and stuffy and towards the end of my stay, it seemed as though the bathroom had not been cleaned since when I checked in 3 days ago. I also walked into my room and found a cat on the bed. This would not have been a problem, since the staff was very kind and changed all the sheets, except my friend who i was staying with was allergic.

the hostel was great value for money, and although outside of the centre of Amsterdam it was near to the Van Gogh museum and I amsterdamsign. One problem was the lack of any method of keeping your room cool. The hostel needs to invest in a fan in each room so that guests can keep cool. Other than that we had a fantastic time! You can buy all the tickets you will need for museums and boat cruises from the hostel so you can jump the queue, and everything is justa short walk or tram ride away!

We booked a Private Twin Room and payed together 110 € per Night for a room with 8-9 square-meters and a bunk bed. That's not what we expected and the bookingpage told us.

Nice tidy room plenty of room and clean... seperate bathroom with good water pressure. Easy to get around the city from the location and minutes away from the Palace. One particular person behind the service desk went well above to ensure we enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast was poor, the bedroom was not clean and there were fleas that were very annoying. The staff was nice.

The hostel was really nice. We (4 people) stayed in a 8 bed dormitory with very silent and polite people (two english and two korean girls). We had a private toilet with shower that was quite clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and friendly. It's just 8-10 min walking from Vondelpark and well connected with the rest of the city. I would definitely recommend this structure!

The location and place are very nice.. I didn't like 3 members of staff, who were rather unfriendly and not helpful, apart from the two man. I think it's really improve your service if you try to be more communicative with people and easy going. Amsterdam is the city of fun so we'd expect it from staff as well. We were in the room next to the staircase, and the dors were extremly loud, it woke us up during the night. You should do something about it.

A fifth floor twin room is amazing! Arriving to the hostel after a long day of walking around the city, the room was just a perfect place for dinner and relaxing. Very good location, not that far from anything on foot, otherwise the tram is going to the central station just around the corner. During the night though, you can hear absolutely every word from the surrounding rooms through the walls. A bit annoying.

This was quite a good hostel, I stayed here for 2 nights with a group of friends. The place is a great value for your money as you get your own bathroom in the room and (good) breakfast in the morning and the location is great. The only thing I would've preferred is that they let you bring food/drink in and it would be nice if you could stand outside and smoke at night, as they advise you not to.

Very nice breakfast, great location, would definitely return another time. One guy from the staff speaks portuguese wich was very helpful. A negative aspect was the shower door that didnt close enough to prevent flooding.

Nice hostel. Well-placed in Amsterdam. we didn't had any problem with the checking, we could left our luggages in a locked luggage room for the first and the last day. It's correctly clean. The breakfast was okay : it's a buffet (salty and sweet), so if you're hungry... I would recommend it to you.

When I first arrived to the hostel I nearly freaked. The carpets in the hallway are old and they stink! however i was happy to see that there was no carpet in my room and it overall it was pretty clean. The hostel is located in a really nice residential area within walking distance to the city center and two min away from the museums. Breakfast desperately needs to improve but the staff was helpful.
