Inner Amsterdam was a decent and inexpensive place to stay. The location is not bad at all...it's quiet enough for one to sleep. The bathroom in my room was disgusting; the shower didn't drain and it smelled like pee even after it was cleaned. Not too active of a hostel either. There are no lockers in the rooms, so there is no place to put your clothes and stuff. There are few safe lockers, but they are small and usually taken. To red light district is about 30-40min walk. Staff is nice and helpfull. Wi-Fi internet did not work in my room. Hostel is average in comparison to others. Location very good, quiet & safe. Close to museums, park & nice walk to centre. Very easy to get to airport bus within 1 minute walk. Beds very comfortable, breakfast very good, staff very friendly and helpful. Suitable for all age groups we were family group with 2 teenagers there were other family groups, older travellers, plenty young travellers. A very enjoyable and safe experience. This place was a lot nicer than I expected! The main downside is that it's about a half hour walk from the center of town. However it's next to the Museumplein, not far from the Leidseplein (a fun going-out area), in a really nice and quiet residential quarter. It's clean enough, the beds are quite comfy, the staff is nice, and there's a great breakfast. This place was a lot nicer than I expected! This hotel was rubbish. 2 days the heating in my room didnt work. Receptionist denied they had extra blankets when another one told me they did. Shower didnt run with constant temperature. Internet quite often didnt work. Staff were unhelpful, didnt smile & lacked basic city knowledge. For example was told the long way to airport when the notice board in front of the receptionist stated easier, cheaper & quicker way. DONT STAY IN THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOU ARE DESPERATE OR ENJOY BEING MISINFORMEDThis hotel was rubbish. 2 days the heating in my room didnt work.
