I saw a review online criticizing Inner Amsterdam's location. I couldn't have disagreed more with the review after my stay. It is not only close to the Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum, but also a very short tram ride or nice walk from the Red Light District. To top it all of it's in a quite neighborhood so you'll actually be able to sleep at night. Aside from that, I was pleased as well. Our 8 bed room was clean, including the bathrooms. The beds were actually quite comfortable. I recommend it.

The location of this hostel was great if all you wanted to do was visit the museums, but it's quite a hike to the rest of the vibrant city. My bed in particular was highly uncomfortable, being the hardest thing I've ever slept on, but some beds in my room were much better. It being both a hotel and hostel was a little weird, plus were not told at any point we'd have to pay for breakfast until we went down the first morning expecting to be fed without having to give more money.

The reception staff were helpful but the breakfast people were not even remotely friendly. The breakfast was great but we were told that it would no longer be available with the cost of a night's stay. The elevator was helpful after I injured my knee. The 4 person room/ two bunkbe was extremely crowded. The private bathroom wassmall. The water in the shower ran the right temperature then without warning turned scalding hot. The location was within walking distance to tram, and museums.

I stayed for just two nights in a room on the first floor and received multiple insect bites. Spider, I think. There are small security boxes for each bed but no way to lock up your entire suitcase in the room. It doesn't seem like there's a lot of effort put into hospitality but I had no problems with the staff

i felt the staff were very unfriendly and quite unhelpful. the hostel was very expensive for the facilities available and it was very poorly maintained. the rooms were cramped and not cleaned properly before our arrival. I would not recommend this hostel to any traveller.

The hostel was okay. It was okay sleeping there but if you're looking for activities guided by the hostel staff your at the wrong place, so i guess you can find better hostels for a cheaper price. Linen and bed cloths were clean but it was dificult to maintain the shower and wc clean because all 8 persons sleeping in our room had to use the same bathroom which can also lead to a time mangement problem.

We found a cockroach in the hotel. Then the sheets were dirty when we arrived. Furthermore, the flush in one room didn´t work.
