Pretty cheap and nice enough facilities. They gave me a key for the front door and a key for the bedroom but I never had to use either- everything is always unlocked. Nothing bad happened but it felt a little unsafe.

the hostel was good but there was no wifi connection in the rooms and the rooms were a little bit cold.

Had a great time. Open stage if you want to play something

Fantastic atmosphere in the hostel. Limited wifi meant that I met loads of other travellers. The location was really cool and the staff were helpful without being overbearing. More plug sockets beside top bunks would have made this hostel perfect!

This was truly a great hostel! Nice staff, proper facilities and lovely common room/kitchen. I felt welcomed here and will definitely come back if I visit Hamburg again.

No wifi in the rooms is an inconvenience.

Very nice and clean hostel. Lots of restaurants and bars in the area. Kitchen is well stocked and there is a big supermarket just across the road. Staff were also nice and friendly. Has a really large common area so it's a great place to interact and meet other people. Unfortunately WiFi is only available in common area and not in the rooms.

Stayed in the hostel for two night. Staff is very vriendly and helpfull, and the location is within easy walking distance from the S- and U Bahn. Downside were the thin walls and doors. If you are in one of the first three rooms next to the common area you hear the music and talking quite loud. There is alsno only six showers for the entire hostel. Other than that the hostel was nice.

This hostel is terrific. Great backpacker vibe. Super easy to meet people, best neighborhood in Hamburg and super helpful and friendly staff. Some things to note why I didn't rate higher, wifi was out and was not fixed during my 3 night stay, one of the hostel workers was rude, but the other younger ones were fantastic so she was more the exception, and the luggage hold is not locked and everyone has access to it. Otherwise, Hamburg is an amazing city and this hostel is a great spot to stay

Thought it was a decent hostel at first. Don't know if it's seasonal or not but we were the only ones at the hostel... They said WiFi was down and we'd get it up and running tomorrow, 3 days in a row. Staff kind of rude about it. Not that fun, but has a kitchen and a bed so if you want a place to just sleep book it

Really nice, cosy and warm hostel, rather small so good atmosphere and proximity ! However, super noisy as there is a club really near , bring your ear plugs if you want to sleep (at least) during the week end.

You get what you pay for. To vibe is weird, the people don't smile, and the place smells of sausage and toilets. If you want a place to sleep for the night then this is the place. Other than that, its no party haven.

Staff were great, kitchen and fridges were useful and so was the social space. There was however, no wifi for the four days I was there, and I had a cold shower or two..

Good hostel in a fantastic location, nothing bad!!!

Pretty nice hostel with a kitchen which was nice. Showers aren't the best, only run for 5-7 seconds at a time before you have to turn them on again and the shower curtain doesn't hide much. I'm sure the atmosphere would be better in peak season but there wasn't really anyone there at the time I went. Relatively close to public transport, some staff are friendly, others not.

Wonderful staff. One of them made soup on Halloween which was wonderful. GREAT atmosphere, always full of kind people and good place to make friends. An older hostel but it was no problem. Located in a cool neighbourhood.

The hostel looks a little sketchy frm the outside, and our first impression wasn't very good because the staff wasn't very friendly... The hostel has a hippy/ alternative vibe which we didn't expect. But overall just to sleep is a good choice :)
