Great place with a great location. Within five minutes you're in the heart of St. Pauli. Can't say much about the kitchen since I didn't spend any time there, but the bathrooms and showers were clean and the staff were very friendly.

Good Facilities !! I thought the place was well maintained and the staff were friendly.

The staff were cooperative and polite,but in one case the lady receptionist was a bit abrupt when I used the outer button to enter instead of my own personal key when a gentle explanation of the hostel procedures would have been more suitable.

Bathrooms were clean, room was clean, staff was friendly. Kitchen was a little cramped, but we still managed to cook dinner. STaff was helpful in pointing out sights and nightlife.

Nice hostel, friendly and very helpful staff but not very cozy atmosphere. Loved that they included free tea/coffee but would rather pay more if they offered breakfast as well.

The people are nice and friendly, but the atmosphere was a bit anonymous and it wasn't that cozy ... been to better hostels. However, the Location is just the best!

I enjoyed my stay very much. Good prices! Fancy hostel with friendly and helpful staff. Situated in the district "Sternschanze" which I found to be the most beautiful one due to its cultural flair, the small shops, bars and restaurants. Also very near to St. Pauli and the city center (in the middle). I recommend!

A good hostel let down by an infuriating key system. The dorm rooms lock with a key that doesn't fit into the lock easily and coming back in the night and spending ten minutes trying to position the key in the right position (and waking the entire dorm in the process) is extremely annoying. I've also never been asked to pay 20€ as a deposit for a key before...
