Inter City Hotel, Mekong River View Reviews

PROS- bfast from 0630-1000, central location, market across the road, cool lobby interior, decent wifi connection.  CONS - noisy bar next door, v noisy aircon miles from the bed. No window, broken/ faulty items in room. In effect I'd say this place is a hotel in name alone. We've been travelling around Asia for 6 weeks and this was our hotel treat. Though it's double the price of a hostel I'm afraid to say its half as good! 

The room was ordinary for the price. It had a damp smell until you put a/c on. The window was small and not visible from the bed. Room also on the small size. The room was serviced each day.

Right opposite the Mekong. Easy to walk anywhere in the main part of Vientienne.

This is a good solid Mini boutique hotel on the riverfront.For $US 35 you get a clean room,nice breakfast and helpful staff.Great location -- walk out the door to bars and restaurants and The Mekong river is across the road. Matthew Harvey -- NZ

Front desk staff spoke good English and was friendly and helpful to guests. Breakfast included made-to-order eggs.

Great hotel with nice location! Beautifully decorated... it has a boutique hotel feel! Quite interesting! The free breakfast is really nice too. The staff is also really sympathetic and the rooms are clean. Would surely go back!

Lovely rooms and breakfast was nice. I definitely recommend this place for the great location.

Very very nice staff, especially the girl at reception who was very helpful when the ATM swallowed our card! Public areas of hotel are very nice, you can see that a lot of effort went into decorating it. Our room was nice but could do with a lick of paint. Breakfast was until 10am every morning but they stop refilling things after 8:30 so its always cold.

Inter City is located in the great location, facing the Mekong River and the extrance of Night Market. There are a lot of collections in the hotel. The room is big, but the bathroom needs to be clean up a little more although it is good in general. The girl at the reception can speak good English and gave us a lot of valuable tips. It could be very noisy in the evening during weekend cos there is a pub next door.
