Great place If you are looking for a quieter environment outside the main downtown area. Lots of cafe, and easy walk to any sight in the city. Friendly staff (we got a recommendation to an Indian food place that was excellent) and clean bathrooms. Only small quibble is that there are basically not places in the shower room to keep you clothes or towel dry while showering.

Had a lovely stay. Not far from the centre and most importantly it was very clean! The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

Really liked this hostel. But, like every hostel it has it's little odd quirks... like only 4 lockers in a 6 person room. The front steps were also somewhat frightening because they're SUPER steep. But I wouldn't not go here because of that. Overall, I really loved it! Also they have a cat... and I am very allergic... I wish I knew before I went. Was stuffy the whole time cuz of it. AND, it bit me... twice!! But I do highly recommend this hostel. :)

Great experience! The hostel is in a good location-- kind of in between the Red Light District and the Vondelpark, Rijksmuseum, Museumplein area. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We reserved an 8 person mixed dorm but ended up in a 5 bed with a lovelu view of the canal. For only €14.50, this place is a great deal!

I was there for two days. Had a good lounge area. Wifi in he rooms was a bonus. Good for being out all day and just a place to sleep.

Nice place to stay - had fun here. Too bad the reception closes so early so people cannot hang out down there past 11. Would definitely recommend!

The reception closes at 11pm, the bathrooms are really cramped, and you have to pay cash or they charge extra. Otherwise it's good! I will stay again when I go back to Amsterdam.

Very comfortable beds, good sized rooms. Room lighting could be better. Hostel is clean and not too shabby looking. Location is good with walking distance to most things, otherwise the tram stop is not far. Didn't really see the staff, other than the cleaners, except for check out and check in, and they were friendly. Quite expensive but it was Queens Day weekend. Thought it was a bit poor they had the doors open all day to charge the public (€2) to use the toilet - not so secure.

They offered good services, nice and helpful staff, good location, clean toilet and shower room. If you have little money and want spend more money in sightseing and enjoy the city, instead of accommodation, then the hostel could be one of your options. However, I was a bit annoyed that the girls who shared dorm with me were too noisy. Excepted that, everything was ok. In general, with the cheap rate, i can't demand more that what the hostel could provided me.

Great hostel with the cleanest bathrooms ever! Only downside is that there is no kitchen but that doesnt really matter as they have a great little menu that you can eat from €2 burgers were awesome.

Good Hostel. Cleaning staff kept hiding my stuff, which was a little annoying, but the girl at the desk helped me find it again (THANKS, YOU'RE AWESOME!). If you have a problem, the staff fix it! This hostel has a really cool building (traditional Dutch warehouse achitecture) but it is spoiled by all the stoner artwork on the walls (I would like to see a hostel in Amsterdam that doesn't spoil the Dutch charm with Drug Cutlure). The city is famous for so much more. Need more lockers in the rooms.

For the price the hostel is ok. It's clean and the people of the hostel are very nice and will help you in every case. The shower and the toilets are noot too luxurious ;-) If you are too tall you shouldn't go there, cause the rooms are very small.

The place is ok for the money. The only two downsides are the wifi (I didn't make it work) but specially the showers, the water pressure was so low that a tiny water thread flowed sticked to the wall making difficult to take a normal shower.

It was an average stay for us here. The rooms were clean but too hot. The location is pretty good but a bit noisy but it was fine if you are just looking for a place to crash.
