Very small rooms, my neighbor woke me up many times at night when his feet were touching my head... The price can vary a lot and it was far to much expensive compared to the quality I expected.

The location was perfect and I got what I expected for my money. It would be goid if they have lockers or a safe place where e can leave our valuables though. It was a bit shabby but clean and the bads were comfortable.

I stayed there for two nights, in the middle of the week because I wanted to avoid the usual weekend tourists who go to Amsterdam for 2 things. I failed and wound up in a room with 5 young British boys who were extremely messy and inconsiderate. The hostel itself is OK, nothing amazing but nothing awful. I just would warn anyone thinking of staying there to beware the clientele such a cheap hostel attracts. If you JUST need a place to sleep, it does the trick. Need anything more? Look elsewhere.

Wonderful location, close to everything, brilliant people, perfect for a weekend or a long break! Get bikes from there as well! So good, can't really say much more! Perfect !! :)

The staff was friendly and helpful, showers and toilets were basic and clean. Unfortunately there is no kitchen which you can use on your own. The common room is very basic and not inviting, there is a smoking room as well. Wifi was good, furthermore one PC you can use to go online. Altogether ok, if you only need a place to sleep and spend your days outside the hostel.

Overall pretty average hostel with nothing that stands out. Probably the loudest hostel every stayed in as well, the doors (designed by a complete idiot) make such a loud slam that everyone wakes up every time they are used. Also scaffolding outside the window at 6am is not a very good idea especially without warning people staying there first. Other than these, the staff were very helpful though a bit confusing as to why children are working at reception when people are smoking near by....

I was fine for the 3 weeks that I have been hosted at the hostel. the staff is very friendly, especially Kadir very nice and helpful .. even jessica that helped me a lot for so.fi. nummer and things like that. the hostel is in a perfect location 1 minute walk from Leidseplein .. one of the three major markets of Amsterdam, in addition there are plenty of coffee shops and restaurants near a CLAB (PARADISO) ONE OF THE MOST FAMOUS! For all these things I recommend it very much. CRISTIAN.

It was a great hostel, just make sure they haven't double-booked your bed. They rectified the problem, though, all good !

I enjoyed the stay in this Hostel. But unfortunately it was very cold in the room at night, because the independent vehicle heater was broken. Although it was very clean and quite. When I come back to Amsterdam, I will book a room in this Hosel!

For the price, the hostel couldnt be beat. Nothing too special about the place. Pretty bare in terms of the finer things in traveling, but it has all the essentials. Service staff was courteous & professional; keeping a spotless hostel as well as offering assistance whenever needed. Will highly recommend.

The location of the hostel is really great, within a walking distance of every major sight. It is also quite affordable, especially during the week. The guests were generally nice and quiet. The only thing I really hated about the hostel was that the staff woke you up at 9 p.m. and one hour later you had to check out. I was staying in the same room for 3 nights but when the cleaning ladies came, it got extremely noisy. I recommend you book a room for 4 people and not for 6.

Comfortable, clean beds. reasonably warm heaters in each room.2 toilets and showers per level. Rooms get cleaned at 10am which makes it very easy to get up and explore the city, you can sleep in and recover from hangovers in on your own time your only in Amsterdam once!(possibly). The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The location was amazing.DONT BE AFRAID to go into the smoking room. You don't have to smoke to go in there and meet new people! Spent extra 3 nights from ppl i met here.

Definitely enjoyed my stay here - location was excellent and absolutely loved the city. A few downsides.. the lockers in my room wouldn't shut fully so we couldn't lock anything up, but everyone in my room was really lovely so it didn't matter too much. Also having the smoking room in the hostel was pretty cool, but it meant that everything I brought with me smelt really bad of weed... but still a good place to stay with a fun crowd.

Staff was unfriendly, the smell of cannabis hits you when you open the door, its in the whole hostel. The common space is horrible, just for smokers, the eating area is not nice. Rooms are good, location good.

The guy it the entrance was very nice. The location is very good, you can walk everywhere. But the main description of this hostel is that it is cheap. You get what you pay. You can not expect more.

good hostel in general. I have never seen well-kept hostels in Amsterdam so far. It was not either, but I think this one was the best. It is quite far from the city center, but still within a walking distance. The area is nice and calm. And the price is very low.
