This hostel was great, it had a very good setup for the common rooms with a spacey kitchen. A supermarket very close also. It is a 10 min walk or so to the station but is very easy. Staff speak good English and helpful if asked questions. Has a DVD room with a few DVDs. You should go to the standing bar if you want a quick drink local. Found the showers annoying though having to press the button every 10 seconds to keep the water running, maybe I was doing something wrong

Need to walk a bit, but the directions provided to the Hostel from the Railway station is the clearest of all the hostels. The cleanest and most modern facilities of all Hostel.

The hostel was rather difficult to find at night (especially since the map on the pamphlet has a couple mistakes on it). Once there, everything was not great, not bad, just okay. My room ( 2 bunk beds) was very dark and small, but other rooms seemed fairly alright. If you have been to other Khaosan hostels, you can expect pretty much the same standard.

Hostel a bit far away from the station - make sure you take a map to follow and you'll be fine. No elevator so it can be a bit hard to get your bags upstairs if they're heavy! Computer use for free and wifi which is great, again annoying to go 2 levels now and back up if you need to ask the staff something. Very clean, lockers provided.

Staff is nice and there's lots of information and fun comments everywhere (including bathrooms). Just dont expect anything other than what you are paying for.

very good. it's easy to find, it's a bit of a way out of the city centre but easily solved by public transport or just walking a bit. Dorms were very large and beds were very comfy, Common room is pretty cool setup. would def come again

This was my second time at Khaosan Fukuoka, and I can't recommend it enough. Again, the hostel's formula just works; creating a cool place where it is easy to mix with Japanese and other people from all around the world. And of course the facilities in the hostel are all clean and in good condition. It is a great place to stay in Fukuoka, and I would definitely return there in the future.

Nice hostel within easy reach of the JR train station and transport network. You must try the ramen and gyoza at the recommended restaurant which is straight up the road when you turn left out of the hostel. The gyoza is the best in Japan. Yum.

Overall this was a very average Hostel. The staff was just doing it's job, nothing wrong with it but nothing extra. The room was really small and it's further from the station than written on the website. It's about a 15 minute walk. The hostel was not very clean nor very dirty. But than again it's priced quite low so I guess you get what you pay for.

The room I stayed in was quite cramped. I could barely get my bag in there. Probably lucky it wasn't a full room. Besides that the place was clean, the staff were friendly and it was in a convenient location to the train station. I would stay again.

Very nice and accomodating staff. Hostel offered a lot of information on things to do around Fukuoka and how to get there. Also, they spoke English.

The hostel was very clean and the staff were nice and spoke great English. We came for the weekend and it was great because we were able to get a room with 4 beds for the 4 of us girls. I'm not sure if there weren't many people staying there that weekend but we rarely saw anyone else and it didn't seem like a very social crowd for the most part. The location was ok, in the Hakata area, about a 5-10 minute walk from the subway and 5 stops from Tenjin. Great prices
