It was an amazing experience! The hostel had a wonderful atmosphere, and it was very easy to meet other people. The owner organized events every night, and I had a lot of fun just hanging out in the TV room. The rooms were very clean, and I meet wonderful people. Overall an amazing experience!

Great idea for them to have someone to greet you when you arrive - thanks Pablo. They also have activities to get involved in every night followed by a pub crawl which is great for people like me travelling alone. The only down points were the cleaner yelling at me for no apparent reason, and that there is a lot of banging doors all through the night.

I stayed in November 2009, and despite not being fully occupied the hostel facilities were under strain. The bathrooms and the kitchen are small and cramped. Breakfast consists of cornflakes, toast and coffee, which everyone helps themselves to from a communal table. Naturally it results in a huge mess. And finally, some of the dormitories have no window! But it is cheap and central, and the staff are helpful.

The receiption (the girl) is not really nice and helpful which provide a broke map to us. Lack of clear sign of kitchen and washroom... ... The water heater would be hidden somewhere after breakfast time... ... strange No light during day time in the "PC room" and kitchen. There are 2 out of 4 desktop which provide free internet were out of order.

Room was very dark and not fresh ear in- small window. Water was dropping from the ceiling. Poor breakfast. Good location and clean room.

There 'd be more CLEAR rules protecting the guests' sleep: Pls.not slamming doors;no showers and use of cellulars inside dormitories from 23to 8.00; not talking in the corridors as in open air market...etc.Air conditioning was not working inside(and there are no windows...!).Week ends are crowded with more noisy guys...Bathrooms are too few compared with 140 people's capacity.'Staff's low score'is due to problems I had with booking and odd item charged to my c.c. without being told :-((

Nice location (center), great service and staff! Every evening there are different events, every night - pub crawl!(it was amazing!) There is WiFi and you can use PCs in the hostel for free. Every morning you\\\\\\\'ve got free breakfast (coffee, tea, milk, toasts, cereal, jam).We lived in 6-beds-room with bathroom (hairdryer, lockboxes, sheets)*you have to pay additionally only for a towel - 1 euro. I\\\\\\\'ll surely stay here again next time!Join and enjoy La Posada!

Everything fine except the bathroom, too small for such amount of people, also the bathroom was too far from the room.

I would only recommend this hostel for its location. The kitchen very crowded at times and the showers often delivered cold water without a hint of hot water.

This was a great hostel! It was in a great location for both tourist attractions and night life, although the latter meant that it was REALLY loud at night; the street noise was incredible, especially since our window wouldn't shut. The staff were very helpful, and there were activities you could join every night of week, which I particularly appreciated as someone traveling alone. The Friday night tapas tour was really bad, but that may have b
