Very nice people! It is right next to the Metro and within walking distance to so many key attractions. Very cozy atmosphere for a great price. Would highly recommend!

I would not recommend this hostel based on cleanliness. I have stayed in lots of hostels throughout the world and this is bar far the dirtiest place I have seen. We couldn't bring ourselves to stay and left to find a hotel elsewhere. There was hair and dirt all over the bed. The staff were nice and there was free internet and international calls. But I wouldn't stay there ever as the beds and pillows were disgusting.

That is really good place to stay for it's close location near the center area that can be easy to go. The host of hostel is warm hearted and will give you a lot of useful information. The breakfast is nice also, and the atmosphere.

I love this hostel, actually, it is more like a homestay. The stuff there is really really nice and we got lots of help from them to travel around Washington. It is warm, clean and have nice atmosphere. It also just five minutes to Chinatown, which have many perfect restaurants. If I would go back to DC, i definitely would go back there.

Staff is great. It`s a old typical building, Big lockers in room. Don`t like the cleaning (room very dirty) and poor breakfast... Walking distance to metro.

I stayed in a 2-bed dorm and was alone throughout the stay. The ensuite bathroom and room are clean, though the covers were a little thin when the night is colder than usual and you're not warmly dressed to bed, and there seems to be a smell of stagnant water of sorts in the bathroom. The proprietors were friendly and helpful enough.

Hostel is walking distance to everything, free breakfast, wi fi etc and most things to do in Washington are also free so you save lots of money. I only stayed there 1 night as I wanted to spend time in Chicago but I would have stayed there longer. I booked into a 4 bed dorm but got upgraded for free to a private room which was great. Ron who owns the place is so nice and knowes so much about what there is to do. Its more of a house then a hostel but would def suggest staying there.

Beautiful Hostel in a converted Townhouse. Just like the description says, it's in a historic district and has no sign on the door, but the '1110' is clearly visible. I only stayed one night and was out for most of it, but the downstairs room i stayed in was great. Definitely the largest 5 person room I've ever been in. Bigger than most of my friends' apartments. Can't beat that it is literally a block from the Convention Center metro station, closest I've ever been to public train ever!

they need to clean the beds before somebody else takes the room. sometimes i do not find a reception guy and i need to wait for him, but this is not a big deal.

Breakfast was low on stock every morning, first up first served. I was in the basement with staff (and a child) walking through, to get to their room behind us, this shouldnt happen, the room and its bathroom facilities are for guests only. I left food on the bench, it was thrown out when my room mates left. The free interent is almost dial up speed, the free printing was a hassle when I needed to print, and when the internet was down and I needed it staff seemed uninterested in fixing it.
