This is in my top 5 (out of 30-35) hostels i've ever stayed. definitly the best in florence. Giuseppe, the owner, knew all our names (5 people) even though we stayed for one night. it's about 5 minutes walk from the train station and 10 minutes walk to piazza republica and 15 minutes from ponte vecchio. it's really quiet, no fun or common room, but that's not really a problem. Excellent location close to the sites and handy to the station. Friendly and helpful staff, good beds and clean modern bathroom. Its worth noting the kitchen is £3 per person. Stayed in one of three "apartment type" rooms away from the main hostel, which was fine because we were only there for the night and needed something very central, easy to get to and find from the station. If you need services like internet, ask for a room in the main building. very very nice place. Super clean, showers and toilet are in the rooms. Great showers. Great location, only a three minute walk from the train station, and near everything. The only problem is the kitchen is only available from 8-10 then from 20-22. Other than that, this was by far one of the nicest of the 15 or so hostels we have stayed in throughout Europevery very nice place. Super clean, showers and toilet are in the rooms. Great showers. Our room was in Via dell' Amorino, which is still a very central location. It was really cutely decorated but there was construction going on in the streets and the rooms below us, that were extremely loud and started around 9am. So this is not the place to go, if you want to sleep in or enjoy silence.
