The only thing we didn't like was that there was no WIfi in the rooms. You had to actually walk over to a different building to access the WIfi and that was pretty inconvenient.
I enjoyed these days in Florence, although there are a lot of work to do,when I back the hostel,I feel good like back to home.
This hostel is in a great location, 5 min walk from the cathedral and main square. However we did not enjoy our stay here and would not recommend to stay here. The check in is only available between 9 - 12 in the morning and the doors are locked outside of those times. After following instructions to call the owner he was incredibly rude and did not open the doors. I can not speak for all the staff but our experience with the owner (I assume) was terrible throughout our entire stay.
The best thing was the kitchen, you can cook whatever you want to. It would be great that you solve the problem with WiFi in the rooms with private bathrooms, because I paid to have WiFi in my room, but I only could use it when I was in the kitchen.
Its very good located. Balconny, airco, laundry, fridge. Very nice to cook yourself cause there is a kitchen and supermarket around corner. Staff is nice but most of the time there is nobody... Not very clean but just ok. We've enjoyed ourselfs very much here.
This hostel is the worst hostel I've ever been to. The facilities announced are clearly not respected, the AC counts as extra (which is okay but should be specified in the ad). The manager is very rude and it's only the next day after much fussing around that he finally gave us the remote. It was 5€ per night. The bathroom was not clean at all and not convenient to be shared between 6 people. Not to mention the last night I stayed there, an impromptu seventh bed was added in the room.
