Within walking distance of Firenze SMN station. The hostel is value for money, it has a kitchen, and it isn't too big so it does offer some privacy compared to bigger-scale hostels. Beds and toilets are good and clean. The free wifi connection available at this hostel is unstable or has limited connectivity issues. Can get rather frustrating just to get your internet connection going!

Booked a 6bed dorm and was surprised with a private 2 bed room with private bathroom. Staff was not present most of the time. Location is excellent.

1. The owner was never there, except to take your money 2. The Wi Fi is very temperamental. 3. lock out for cleaning 11-1pm, however i was very ill & decided to rest in bed for the day when I was kicked out of the hostel.  4. The oven does not work, nor to two of the cook tops. 5. Although the rooms were clean, they were poorly lit ( only 1 light for whole room), the top bunks had no ladders, there were no lockers and the TV didn't work.

The staff don't exist. It is like a ghost town. They leave notes and keys for you. Very cold. Have to pay 5 Euro for heating but can't pay it until the morning. Wifi didn't work on our phones or laptops.

Plan on paying in cash. Even though it says you can pay them with a credit card if its over 100, that was definitely not the case. Although the service was poor, we had a great stay there! Simple, Cheap, and Easy!

The ensuite room doesn't have a bathroom in the room! That was a false promise... you get a key for a bathroom outside of the room. The receptionist was rude to other guests, but not to us. If you don't like dealing with people, get another job.

the guy at the reception was very rude and gave you the idea of annoying him with any question....!The fact that you cant use the bathroom at all all between 10am-1pm is more than ridiculuos....i mean whats if i have to pee? the location is good and i also liked the appartment...but its organisation is very bad and i would probably search for another hostel instead.

This place was great! It's right around the corner from the HUGE outdoor market and only a short walk away from the Duomo and the night life. The staff is sweet, thought the main woman only speaks Italian. The help desk isn't open alot, but they give you everything you need for your stay. I stayed in a room with its own adorable balcony, but bring your own towel! It's not a place to make friends, but it's easy to meet people in the market place if you're friendly. I would definitely stay again!!

Reception is only open from 9 to 13 in the morning, arrive out of these hours and you have to ring them up. The guy that runs this place is not friendly.A 2€ extra per day as city tax. So the price quoted is not what you will pay. Internet is very painfully slow.

Owner Comment (Show)
Reception time 10-13 Internet works at 7.2 mega....... City tax is in all the city......

Not a good staff character, not friendly, only speak to you when you have to pay. You must pay a city tax of 2 euros per person and night. Kitchen with poor facilities. Good potential but poor staff. Has a very good location.

There was no one to welcome us so I can't talk about the tenant of the Student House! We had to call him and he told us the code of the building and the keys were there. Nevertheless the room was ok, clean and quite big. The bathroom was small and there are no towells. The place is ok but nothing very exiting.
