International Student House Florence Reviews

Dopo essermi stata confermata la prenotazione, qualche giorno dopo nella cartella della posta indesiderata mi è arrivato un messaggio dall'International House Florence dove mi comunicavano di avere cancellato la mia prenotazione, poichè c'era stato un problema con la disponibilità on-line, si mostravano disponibili nel cerarmi un'altra sistemazione e a rimborsarmi il deposito da me versato. Bene, dopo avergli scritto più volte non mi hanno più risposto, e tanto meno rimborsato il deposito!!!

Very bad place to stay. Never go there! We took a 3 beds private room but there was a double bed and a small bed. The small bed was a real bed, nobody can sleep on it! We slept in a doble bed 3 people. And our room was in another building, at the top of the building and the heater was not working. It was very cold inside. Staff was rude to the customer, They took the money before showing the room and they do not accept seperate paying. In our building there was also no Wifi.

The only thing good about this hostel is the location. The rooms weren't very clean and it was freezing at night and we only had one thin blanket (the heaters never came on). There is no wifi in the rooms and the staff is NEVER there. We were never able to get into the main building because no one was ever working. I'd rather pay more and be comfortable in another place.

Despite the fact that it`s very well located it wasn`t that good when we consider crew members and facilities. When we arrived the heater wasn´t working and during the night it was turned off. As it was verry cold outside (days and night) it was also verry cold inside the room. In orde to solve this situation we had to wait until the next turn to call again the staff and ask for a solution (the next turn is when there are someone again at the hostel and it was on the next day afte 6 p.m.).

The room i stayed in was unheated and dirty. There isnt really anything positive to review apart from its location. Good luck to anyone who stays there

Good points: excellent location, just 5 minutes from the station, very quiet. when the staff is there gives you good advice. Bad points: the staff is never there, the only computer provided can't be used in certain times, internet is never working.
