Reception is not 24hours

This is the worst hostel I've ever stayed.

The location is great, but the rooms and the furniture are old, there are not many facilities (for instance, there is no ladder for the upper beds and no individual lights in the rooms), and the staff is not rude, but also not quite friendly. Stay there wont harm you, but also wont delight you.

If you have any issues or problems with the room or facilities, you basically have to wait until the next day for it to be addressed. We wanted to rent a towel and had to wait until the next day to rent one.

It was very inconvenient that the reception was only open from 9-12. I was let into the hostel by another guest and they had just left my key out on the desk with a note, so I didn't check in until the next morning. I felt a little insecure. Also, the luggage 'storage' was just leaving your bags in the hall, which I didn't feel comfortable with. But I loved the rooms and the map was very helpful. Nice to have a kitchen as well. Good location.

Overall we had a great stay, the room was cute and clean.... we definitely had trouble getting in though. If you're arriving between reception hours, make sure you get there exactly when you say you will, because no one answers the doorbell and the phone number wasn't working-- we had to wait an hour before one of the other guests came and unlocked the door for us. Also, under facilities it says they have a swimming pool.... not true.

The most unpleasant thing - we informed Fabio a day before via fon that due to traffic we'll arrive between 6-8pm, he asked us to call him & wait 10 min for a key. We arrived at 8pm, called him, he never showed up, we were waiting hours outside. Finally we saw a group of Russian students & asked them to let us in. Inside we found our keys. Next day as soon as I saw a group of Chinese, I asked them for their names and remembered to have seen the same name on the message with key & let them in.

As far as I could see, the place looked fine, clean and safe with good atmosphere. Godd thing about it is that is close to the Santa Maria Novella Station which is a very good thing.

The hostel\'s location with this price is very worthy. The washing room is very clean, but someone hung a horse tail in it!...It seems the Wifi is a small probability event，off and on...Once again, the location is perfect, not noisy, but close to the center!
