We were 3 people in a 3 bed cabin who stayed for 2 nights. Cabins are small but cosy. The upper bed is shorter but fit more than well to the shortest of us (152cm). Nice with safety locker in the cabin. Breakfast is nice and filling. Location is good and most interesting things are within walking distance (30 min.). Atmosphere is excellent. The host Jimmy is great and tells all you need to know. I strongly recommend staying on this boat when visiting Amsterdam.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Intersail. The staff (meaning Jimmy) was helpfull and friendly. Our cabin was clean, breakfast was good, and atmosphere was SUPER! The location is good. You can easily walk to the city center.

It would be great if the wifi would work reliably. The towels can't dry in those small rooms.

Fabulous location and the staff were just awesome! breakfast was really good, and just loved the novelty factor of staying on a boat! admittedly the rooms are pretty small, so make sure you know your room mate well! ha

Stayed in a 3 person room. Absolutely tiny cabin - definitely not recommended for tall people or claustrophobes. Anyway, if you're in Amsterdam it's unlikely you'll spend much time in the cabin apart from sleeping in it, so it was fine for us. Nice boho-feeling common area. Clean common bathrooms and toilets, good hot showers. Friendly staff. Alright breakfast. A 10-minute walk to Centraal Station. Only thing is floors are a bit creaky and you can hear it especially if you're in room 1!

Rooms were tiny & only fit for sleeping in & nothing more. There was no room for luggage or bags. The staff was really nice & breakfast was good. The common area wasn't very pretty & compared to the other boats at the dock it was rather poor looking. Parking prices are redicioulusly high (36 euro a day) & if you go there by car, you must drive a LONG way to find cheaper parking spaces. If you intend to stay for 1-2 nights only, it's ok, otherwise you can find a better hotel for the same price.

Very nice. Excellent staff and great atmosphere. Really made us feel at home but also let everyone know on arrival when to be quiet as well which is also good! On a negative side the rooms are very small and the floors creak a bit, but really i am being rather picky. Great place to stay and def would return

Very good hostel! I recommend this hostel to every traveller but also for families this is good option. Everything is as it should be for the price you pay and the guy called Jimmy is a very honest guy and just does his job as it should be, real nice guy!

It was a unique experience staying at the Intersail hostel, the atmosphere is great, there is a nice common area where you can relax, meet people and enjoy some cheap beer from the fridge. The hostel is much alive, the rooms are so small that they force you to sit in the common area, I met interesting people from all over Europe in this common area space. Before choosing this hostel one should consider that some of rooms are very small (about 6 square meters) I enjoyed my staing in intrasail

I really liked this place! My two teenagers and I shared a 3 bed space, which was extremely small as expected, but so damp that the towels never dried after first use (rainy spring). There's no hot water in the rooms, but the showers/toilets are clean and roomy. The common room is very comfortable and wi-fi worked most of the time. We very much appreciated the friendly service and cold, reasonably priced beer! Breakfast was fine, but somewhat over rated by most reviewers, in my opinion.

the cabin is really very small, 4-bed dorm is really really un-live-able! you cant stand inside or even get your luggage. But 2-bed dorm is better as at least you have some spaces. the location is very good, its close to central station and the sea. Jimmy is nice and helpful. The breakfast is very good. However there is no wifi inside the room. you can only surf the net in the common place. and you cant use the kitchen so you cannot prepare your own meal on the boat. the mattress is very good.
