It was so cosy and homely and our host was very helpful and accommodating, we would stay there again :)

Despite the small room, intersail is good pick. Nice breakfast, good atmosphere! Erm... some guests were not being self disciplined at night, the noise made sleep impossible! :-)

Great place to stay when visiting Amsterdam. Good location, staff was really nice and helpful and the owners made things easier while booking. Great experience!!!

They need to give more accurate descriptions of how small the rooms are. 4 girls stayed in a room smaller than my closet at home. It was cute and funny and doable, but not for more than a night or two and if you need a place for more than sleeping.

situated close to railway station and to the historic city centre. You can walk all by foot.Nice lounge to sit and recreate.Rooms and facilities clean but small, but thats what you know before booking.Very nice and helpful stuff people. The only complaint I have:stuff should ensure that the customers keep calm after 23:00;during our stay one group made noise till 3 o'clock in the morning and then started to have showers before they went to bed. TIP: restaurant in the library's 7th floor !

Loved the boat and staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were tiny and walls were thin but that's to be expected with a boat. Great location close to central station and main areas of town

Loved it! My two friends and I got the four person room and it was enough space for the 3 of us. (very cozy, good way to bond) Also the staff was extremely helpful. They not only told us where we needed to go on our map but also told us other places we might enjoy. Amsterdam was freezing but the boat stayed very warm, I would definitely return to this "bostal."

I absolutely loved this hostel! It was such a treat to stay on a boat! We loved the staff and the other people we met there. I definitely would recommend that 3 people get a 4 person room and that you be prepared for a lack of personal space. The bathrooms were clean and stocked (free towels!) but there are only 2 showers and 2 toilets, so be ready to wait a bit! But other than that, the place is super clean and the people are happy and the breakfast is everything you need to start your day!

I stayed with my sister on new year's day, we were shattered after NYE and there were signs up everywhere saying that the hostel was mucho mucho serious about noise, but it was hands down the noisiest hostel that I have ever stayed in, and the thin walls and creaky floors are pretty unforgiving. Other than that it was really lovely, cute boat, friendly staff, very clean and amazing breakfast. The rooms are hobbit sized but a 2 bed room has plenty room for two.

A fairly unique experience, to stay on a boat in Amsterdam. Christian was a great host and much friendlier than a lot of hostel staff I have encountered across Europe, and even obliged to make and give us lunches on NY day at 7am as we were missing breakfast. The setting is beautiful, and Oosterdok where it's moored was host to NY eve fireworks, for which we got a panorama from the deck Rooms aren't as small as they have been made out to be, it's a boat after all... Would definitely recommend it

Interesting environment. Very small rooms, but not bad for a short weekend stay. The beds are small so if you are tall or bigger person in anyway then I would not recommend this place for you. Silence is after 22:00 but as it is considered a hostel there were still some noisy partying people coming home at 3-4 am. The walls are thin. Breakfast was included, which was really nice. We had a pleasant stay.
