Stayed here for 1 night 3 separate times, mostly for convenience of familiarity. Locker situation is amazing, breakfast is descent (eggs if you ask, bread, tea), but the beds are not super comfy. The hang out space is good, but tough to avoid smokers if present. Loud music goes pretty late but you can't hear it much from the dorms, just tough if you want to hang out somewhere less loud. Travel desk was super helpful, proximity to market and food places great. No kitchen, only frigde & microwave.

What a little gem! Perfect location near to the party hostels (and not at the top of the hill!) but itself a relaxed, clean and friendly hostel with a social bonfire area and breakfast. Really comfy beds (although the resident cat did decide to share mine!) and helpful staff. Excellent value.

Had a great stay. Front desk was super helpful. Hot water for every shower. Good atmosphere- people were friendly but it wasn't an over the top party environment. Pretty quick walk to plaza de armes (and one that didn't involve a ton of stairs, important at the altitude). Would definitely stay here again.

Overall was a really good stay, good beds and good brekkie. This may not be for some but for me being allergic to cats I didn't appreciate the cat jumping into my bed every night. I'm a lover of animals but I think in a hostel situation the cat should have its own bed and not a hostel stayers bed.

Staff were helpful and friendly and rooms and facilities were quite clean. Rooms weren't very soundproof though and they play music in the courtyard till about 10pm so if you're looking to sleep early for one of the many tours that pick you up at 4-5am, I would recommend good earplugs. Likewise with people waking up at 5am and talking in the courtyard, sound carries easily. Rooms can be chilly as they don't have heating but blankets are very warm. Showers were consistently hot which was great

Not very close to the main plaza and from there to the hostel is all the way up. Staff are very nice, welcoming and helpful. Beds are a little bit too creaky. The lockers in the room are big enough, and there are also some small ones in the yard. Breakfast were basic but I did love the bread!

Spent 3 nights in the property. Staff are knowledgable about the city and can guide you on getting to many attractions. Beds are comfortable. The hostel is located close to the main square. Its the perfect place to meet fellow travellers.

Very good location. Near (downhill) "Paradero turístico" of Santa Ana where tours drop tourists and also near Plaza de Armas. There are several cheap places to eat in the area. Very clean, lockers inside and outside the room. A bit expensive if you compare it with other smaller hostels in the area. Poor breakfast, you have to pay if you want more. No kitchen. A serious disadvantage is that the central part of the building doesn't have roof, so you get wet going to the bathroom if it rains.

AMAZING! It's the little things: Electronics charging lockers; beautiful public space with outlets EVERYWHERE; extremely clean; hot showers; spacious dorms & rooms; reading light & outlet at every bed; kind & competent staff. This place was such a treat--I wish other hostels could be so thoughtful!

The private room was suuuuper hot in the day. But the bed was comfy and the staff was pleasant. They let you store your stuff for free when you're going to Machu Picchu, which is a plus. The bathroom situation is problematic, as the mixed showers and bathroom stalls are only on the bottom floor (to my knowledge). Nice for one or two nights though.
