The hostel staff were very helpful and hospitable. We didn´t really need to go out for dinner at night because they provided meals for cheap prices each night we stayed there.

Very cool building and hangout area. The building is not very sound proof, though, so nights were often pretty loud. The communal bathrooms were kind of a pain too, depending on where your room is. Nice and helpful staff and great location.

Good wifi. Kind of far from train station. Very friendly, helpful staff. Awesome outdoor kitchen, a very social hostel. Rooms are solid.

It was definitely the most beautiful hostel I stayed in. However, the cleaning lady took my towl bag, shampoo, and some other stuff when cleaning my room. I think she thought I had left. when I asked the staff about it they were very rude to me. Other than that, the breakfast was great, and it is about a 10 minute walk from the plaza.

This is a great hostel! they have awesome facilities, a good kitchen and also a restaurant and bar in case you don't like cooking and like drinking ;) Really big lockers with plugs inside, group activities every day, luggage storage and very kind staff

I really liked the staff, especially the bar staff. They were cool and put on good movies. I did the tour of the sacred valley that was offered by the hostel and it was a good service for a fair price. I used the bag check, but was worried the whole time. It's a flimsy system designed around the honor code - a system that could be easily taken advantage of by a predatory guest. That made me uncomfortable. Otherwise, everything was great. The beds, though not the most comfortable, were clean.

nice and clean rooms and comfy beds, tasty breakfast and a good bar, friendly staff, the disadvantage is that the comon area and the kitchen mainly are outside, not really chilly if it's raining and cold (which is was almost all the time during our stay).. also wifi isn't that well and didn't work half day in the whole hostel..

One of the best hostels I've wandered into ! Great setting in an entirely renovated colonial house, beautiful and clean rooms, all facilities... And more than all a great and welcoming staff, and all the common spaces you need to hang out with fellow travelers.

I liked Intro. It had a nice colonial vibe to it which was highly consistent with Cusco's general feel. It was chill and laid-back, with people conversing and swapping tales, but also finding refuges of quiet to rest in. The hostel was extremely clean, the staff was excellent, ever-smiling and helpful, and both the beds and showers were warm enough for the Cusco weather. The daily events were a hit and a miss and the wifi was maddeningly poor, but my overall experience was extremely positive.

Intro was like no other hostel I've stayed in. I've been to 17 countries and no hostel compares to Intro. I enjoyed staying there

Great staff, great place...kitchen is a little short on tools...laid back mature travelers during my time...social without the loud party bullshit...and excellent location...easy walk to anywhere in the old city or out into the countryside sachsihuaman way...

Overall good hostel. Location is a bit of a walk from the central plaza area, and bus/train stations. Lounge agree is nice, with a kitchen, pool table, seating, and the indoor bar has a movie/projector. Was a bit quiet when we were there, but the setting is good fora social atmosphere. The wooden floors on the 2nd level creak.

Hostel is a bit uphill from Plaza de Armas, maybe 10 min walk. It's a smaller hostel with in an old colonial house. Staff is friendly and atmosphere during the day is very chill. At night things can get a bit rowdy at night as the bar is open til 1am. I absolutely would not recommend staying on the 3rd floor above the bar - VERY noisy.

Owner Comment (Hide)
Bar closes between 23:30Hrs and 00:00 Hrs. We even call a van so people who like to party can go to clubs with a free ride. The hostel is located 4 blocks from the Main Plaza. Anyway, if you find that too far because of the altitude sickness, you can take a taxi for 3 soles. We also have Oxygen for guests in case you have a bad altitude sickeness (very rare though).

Intro hostel is great! Best prices on rooms, food, and drinks in Cusco. Plus, if you plan on heading to Lima after Cusco, you can get 20% off your stay at 1900 Backpackers in the colonial district just for staying at Intro Hostel. If you are looking for a safe, and fun hostel at cheap prices Intro Hostel is the one to pick. Make sure you play a game or two of chesties when you are there too!

Only bad thing was that it gets really cold and all the communal areas are outside. Makes for a bit of a less social experience. Kitchen facilities were awesome. Staff was helpful and friendly.
