Great location. Breakfast could be better. Surprisingly dirty and shabby for so few guests.

The hostel is very homey, which is nice when you have been traveling around a lot! There is a full kitchen equipped with all the dishes and utensils you could need, including spices and little odd and ends stuff. The rooms were very clean and tidy. I felt very comfortable and met some great people at this hostel!

The wifi was kind of spotty. But the overal vibe of the place was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful with ideas of things to do to fill our days. The kitchen is a bit cramped with more yhan 2 people in there but iz really well stocked with spices, pans , utensils. Even has a sharp knife or two.

The kitchen is way too cramped, but otherwise everything was pretty good. The staff were helpful in giving us things to do.

The name sounds not as promising as this place really is. A hostel which feels like home, comfy common area and a fully equipped kitchen is waiting for you. If you get an upstairs room you might have a great view out. Unfortunately there are no lockers in the rooms but the receptionist is happy to take care on your things, so ... :)

Nothing special but the lovely front desk people more than made up for the shabbiness of the place. Would stay here again regardless of imperfect conditions; the waters hot and the tea is free. :)

A very funny and friendly hostel. The staff was great and with all facilities. They have a complete and very good breakfast for 2 pounds. You can hire towels (very useful with the great humidity of Inverness). A very complete hostel, warm, clean and funny. Perfect for backpackers.

A perfect place!

The staff there was really helpful and kind. It was a bit crowded though and the living rooms kitchen wasn't that big but that's not a problem at all. The beds were ok and the people i met there aboslutely cheerful!

It was total mismanagement. I had to shift from one room to other everyday at half past midnight. Staff was inexperienced and rude. It might be good for people travelling in groups but its a nightmare for solo people. All they care about is how much business they are getting but without any care about the comfort and ease of the fellow hostellers.

Fantastic stay here - five nights. It was VERY full the first night ( bus tour - great fun - Really!) f Easter week. I was in a bottom bunk of the metal beds so I could not sit up straight, and I really wanted to be able to sit up in bed and not hit my head in the middle of the night. (I am short!). I was able to move to a room and bed that were super comfortable - sunny, roomy, with two single beds! Staff was amazing - personable, knowledgeable, caring, and efficient. Kitchen sufficient.

Very good hostel, excellent staff. The only thing I have to notice is how cold the room was. But apart from that... Everything was lovely. Perfect. :)
