it was far too cold in the dorm. because the windows are so poor. they should give away extra blankets. the kitchen was well equiped, with spices and oil. location is great, the hostel is perfect, has a lot of common rooms. one room with bus timetables and lots of useful information.

This is by far the friendliest hostel I have ever stayed at! The staff are all very welcoming and helpful and the overall atmosphere made my stay there memorable. I warmly recommend it!

Staff are excellent, very friendly and always willing to help. Beds are very comfortable, and having TWO pillows was great. The shower curtains just behind the door in the showers are a brilliant idea! Makes keeping your clothes dry so much easier. Common area is very cosy and makes you feel like you're at home. Overall, one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. I'd definitely be back!

The staff members were very friendly and helpful, the shower room and the kitchen were pretty clean, but the room was not. Also there's almost no sunlight in the room I've stayed. Not a bad place, probably you can get better rooms there.

Had a nice view over part of the city, and was close to the center. The hostel was good overall, with lots of places to hang out, and 2 pillows on the beds (awesome). Would stay there again.

This hostel is a home away from home. The staff seem to use it as one too, which can be a negative as well as a positive. I found the showers and facilities to be very clean and a delight to use. The dorm room we were in overlooked the river Ness and the mountains of Inverness. The common lounge upstairs was very quaint and cosy, my best friend and I often sat at the little table next to the window reading our books and drinking tea, watching the long Scottish sunset. Small, memorable, lovely.

An old Hostel with lots of character. You can spend hours "reading" the walls. Small but cozy with a great view over town and only a short walk to the centre. Parking, Free Wifi, and a well stocked kitchen you can cook properly in are all good. The staff were tops and despite its age it is pretty well looked after and cleaned. Id definitely stop here again :D

2 very good things other hostels should learn from Inverness Student Hostel: (1) Their bunker beds are "built" into the wall & floor so that it won't shake when you move. (2)Although the shower cabins are very small as are some other hostels', their little efforts make great convenience to guests - having installed a few hooks on the shower cabin door and shower curtain to separate the hook area (where you would hook your clothes or towel) from the shower water. And the kitchen is well-equipped!

Fun place. Small and cozy hang-out room. Really nice location for exploring Inverness. Terrific pub at the end of the block. Staff were all friendly and quick with information and advice about Inverness and Highlands in general.

The Hostel is great, the only negative point is the weak fun. In spite of this the hostel is awesome, I certain recommended.

Great Hostel and absolutely awesome staff! It has clean facilities and a well equipped kitchen! Though we just stayed one night they stored our bags the next day and invited us for free coffee/hot chocolate throughout the day! I would definitely come back!

Handy location to everything, great view from the common room, lovely staff, fast internet, lack of TV was great as it meant I was able to meet and chat to a lot of people (and several pubs with TVs were a short distance away), free coffee & hot choc really helped, shower was hot and had a good stream. The 3rd hostel I've visited in Inverness and I've found no reason to find another one. Cheers guys!

Great staff, location is ok, beds are really uncomfortable for a tall person. Also there were no stairs on the bunk bed so I had to keep stepping on the girl below me's bed.
