loved this place. was a little nervous about hostelling at first, but my experience here has made me a lot more confident about the experience (and i can definitely see why people rate it so highly). the free tea & hot chocolate is awesome (it gets cold in scotland-- who knew?!) and the kitchen/loungey-area is full of character and sweet stuff. showers were clean (yay!) as were bathrooms and bedrooms. the beds by the windows do get a tad bit chilly, but other than that, no complaints! thank you!

This was definitely the best hostel I have stayed at! The location was great. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and well priced. The hostel had a great atmosphere; I loved the decorations in the common rooms! The complimentary tea/coffee/hot chocolate was so nice when it was cold and rainy! The one downside is that I thought the nightly rate was a little pricy, especially since breakfast wasn't included.

walking inl, you can instantly feel the character of the place: not exactly tidy but very homely. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. Beds are clean, a little thin but otherwise had a great sleep. directions to the hostel were decent, although driving up culduthel street, it can be very easy to miss the hostel. We only managed to find it because the owner mentioned there was a bus tour when we were staying and we saw a bus parked in an obscure carpark. perhaps a big sign would be good. worth staying!

Very cosy hostel which makes you feel at home at once. Only downturn was that there are no lockers in the rooms - but you can store small items such as passports and money in the safe of the hostel for no extra cost. Everything else was really excellent!

This is just what a hostel should be. I cannot give the character/atmosphere/staff a high enough score on this. The facilities don't even matter when you have a good experience with the people and the atmosphere is right.

Helpful and friendly staff, cool environment and very well located. The hostel have a lovely common room and bedroom was very cool. No breakfast included but you just need to buy some stuffs on the nearby Tesco store and use the hostel facilities. Inverness deserves a visit :)

The staff were super nice and helpful, really wonderful people. My favorite hostel I've ever stayed in, worth every penny and more. It was a nice and cozy place, very warm and comfortable. Can't say enough good things about the hostel or its staff.

Placed in the middle of Inverness. It is a very nice place to stay, you feel comfy inside and staff is really nice, very good price for what it offers. The only thing that caught my eye was that we had to stay in before 2am, because otherwise we would sleep outside... There is nothing much to do in Inverness at 1:30 am. that time of the year, so I think it is not so bad at all. I would definitely go back!

Can't find anything negative to say about this hostel at all! The staff were the friendliest and most willing to help, the beds were clean even though we arrived at almost one in the morning. The showers were larger than I was expecting and clean to boot. And the view from our window was great!
