The staff are really nice and the security is pretty good. There was a nice atmosphere because there was a lounge where everyone could sit and watch tv/read/use their computers. There were also good facilities and printing is free!

Clean hostel and very friendly and helpful staff. Our experience was marred on arrival by a drunk/drugged man lying in the stairwell and another man who burst into our room twice asking for cigarettes. It seemed clear to us that he was looking for open rooms to perhaps steal from. It made us very wary from then on which was a pity. We never saw these men after these initial meetings and there was no rowdiness in the hostel that I could have expected if these characters were staying the night.

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Very cheap, clean beds, good room mates. Building is old and needs some obvious reno's, but close to what we needed and worth the price.

If you need a firm mattress as similar to myself then I think you will struggle in most hostels, aside that excellent! Thanks

We found the bathrooms, kitchens, dorm rooms and stairs to all be of poor cleanliness... underneath my bed (the only place to store my large bag) was dirty and the bathrooms did not appear to be thoroughly cleaned on a regular basis. The kitchen floor was particularly grubby for morning time. Disruptive behaviour in our dorm during the night. No breakfast. The location is great and the tv room is nice to sit and relax in... as long as there are no loud drunks or odd people lurking in corners.

The location is excellent as it is just 3 mins from the bus station. And it is especially good for people who are going to take bus early in the morning ( usually becoz of the cheaper bus fare). The bathroom is not enough and i really need to wait for a while to get the shower.

Outside area (back yard/ ground level roof space) filthy - plastic food debris, rubbish. Health & hygiene issue. Mirror in room cracked -held together with tape, feeble lighting in room. Pillows useless - no support. Rates poorly compared to Youth Hostels. Toilets & stairwells well stocked & tidy.

Stayed in Inverness for one night. The hostel's location was excellent - right next to the bus station. The staff was friendly, the kitchen and common areas adequate, and the place clean and quiet. We had one major problem. On the day we checked out the staff kindly held our baggage for the day. However when we showed up that afternoon to collect our things, no one was in the office. It took us over an hour to call and find the manager, all while the hostel was completely empty.

Although very close to everything, the area looked a bit shady...entrance on a narrow alley beside a parking garage...the room was a bit stuffy with no plugpoints.

This small hostel is very nice, and if you go there by car there are many parking around it! The city center is also not far fromt he hostel (10 minutes walking). The kitchen is good. Romms are clean and shower too, only the WC is not wonderful but not so bad! If you want to go in Inverness and don't pay too much is a good destination.

The only bad point is that there is no free park like it says on the description, only from 7p.m. - 7 a.m. Anyway great value for money. Nice place.. Will use it again if I need it.

Not enough facilities per level, toilets door handle broken and showers half working. Doors banging from everywhere and difficulties to fit through the fire doors with a travelling bag.
