Everyone speaks English, and are prepared to give you information and local tips. The staff prides itself on creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Feel free to leave your bags at our storage room, if you want to have a look somewhere else around us before checking in! It will be a big pleasure for us even if you dont stay there, and you will be anyway, very welcome to come to our bar and have a drink where you can meet a lot of backpackers and Brazilian people!

I really enjoyed my stay at Ipanema Beach House! For the price, I loved the facilities - such as the atmosphere (the seating in the front and back, along with the pool), and also the breakfast in the morning was great. I thought that there needed to be more activities that brought people together at the hostel, and also potentially a bar set-up. I stayed in a hostel that hosted an optional (paid) dinner every night in Buzios, along with a bar with drink deals.
