Nice place, clean and excellent staff! The price is due to the place, a little bit more expansive than the others, but undersysndable. Would recommend it! Staff helps with every single problem, very atencious and friendly.

great hostel with a awesome atmosphere and pool. very social, the staff where always helpful too.

The location is very nice and the hostel a good place to meet other people. Staff however could be more friendly and helpful. The were checking their facebook more than informing and helping guests

We went to the Ipanema beach house for only two days however we really enjoyed our stay. It's kitchen was really new and the house had beautiful facilities! It's quite a party hostel and is safe but close to everything including the beach! However should you want to stay on you'll be asked to inexplicably change rooms or beds. Our friend was by herself in a room of nine empty beds and asked to move to our room of 9 beds (of which 6 were empty) for one night and was denied :S

Kitchen needs to be given more regular cleans but apart from that it was a great place to stay. Price could be a touch lower though.
