the hostel was nothing special - a bit farther from the centre than I had expected. very quiet - I didn't meet any other hostelers there.

Comfy beds. Awesome tile kitchen, well stocked with cookware and spices and large fridge. Big tile bathroom. Safe, quiet neighborhood. Quick walk to Fabrica museum and galleries. Friendly, helpful host Ricardo has excellent English. He helped us with our Spanish and found us a great dentist for an emergency (at a very low price compared to US). We are hoping to stay here again for next year's trip to San Miguel de Allende.
