What a great place to stay! Lilian kept in touch with us and even picked us up from the train station since she was concerned that we would not be able to find the hostel at night. She was available to answer questions and made sure we were comfortable. The hostel was more like a hotel since it was VERY clean, had a fridge, television, and our own private shower. The location is great as it's walking distance to the train station. HIGHLY recommended! Thanks!!

This was an adorable hostel! Lilian, the proprietor, emailed me a day after I made the reservation to let me know that she would pick us up from the train station because I had noted that we'd be getting in after dark. She lent us flashlights for our trip to Taroko Gorge National Park and had two bike we could have borrowed. Our room was spacious and clean and very cute! We stayed here for our anniversary and it was a great choice!

The hostel owner, Lillian, was lovely and very helpful. The hostel is located within easy walking distance of the train station, bus terminal and the town. The room's very comfortable and clean. Would definitely recommend this hostel to others.

The hostel was great and it saved a trip that would have been otherwise ruined by crappy weather. If you go to this hostel make sure you get the owner to give you the briefing and map about the local restaurants. Also, the hostel gives you bicycles you can use. It was a great place.

A wonderful hostel with an even more wonderful owner. Our double bed room was spacious and the location is a short walk from the train station. It's located in a quiet back street, but with the directions given by the hostel you should be able to find it.

Lovely minsu. Five minutes' walk from Hualien station but it's a little bit hard to find the place at night. It has good facilities, even with a TV!! Finally can watch Australian Open on TV! Cool!

A quiet and very clean hostel. The staff were lovely and very helpful - both Dino and Lillian went out of their way to help. Dino enthusiastically told me about good places to eat nearby, and the next day walked with me to the tour pick-up place. Lillian helped me organise tours, and drove me to the airport on my departure. I would definitely stay here again!

Friendly and helpful owner (Lilian and Dino). They had provided the relevant information in our course of stay. They had provided us a detail map on the surrounding environment of their hostel which is very useful. But I have lost it during the trip.

Great homestay! The owner sent me an email almost immediately after my booking is confirm! Answering almost all my enquiries. Location is near to the train station. There is a communal area on the second floor, where you can cook, drink and enjoy the company of other travellers. Although the owner wasn't around during our visit, her sister extended her welcome to us, providing all the information we requires. Recommended for budget travellers who wish to meet the locals and other travellers.
