The staff were extremely helpful and amicable. They recommended places of good food and gave us a foodmap of hualien and directed us the way from the hostel. The hostel is like a semi-detached house and once you walk in you'll see a black dog thats extremely tame. The entire house smells nice cause the owners(two sisters) sprayed some air freshener everytime they're there. Hostel is sufficienty big enough with amenities like microwave outside the common place. overall its a good experience.

The Boss and 2 daughters are very friendly, it was raining day and they even provide us free raincoat. Room is clean and nice.

A must choice in Hualien.Don\'t hesitate.10 mins walk to train station, not far from downtown. Staff is really helpful.We love them.They decorated the room with their heart. We lived in a room like princess room with soft bed, western style furniture and good smell.it\'s perfect!

The staff did their best to communicate what to see and where to go. Though the maps were in Chinese, they kindly gave us a partial map in English for some local sights. Def. book tours as there is not much to see (or maybe just really hard to find) sights inside the city itself. Free hot chocolate in the kitchen was a nice touch. Down side was no internet other than wireless so those without a computer were SOL. Great rooms and very clean. Even got free ride to train station when we left! :)
