Great staff. We were tired when we first arrived and were greeted by Kevin at the front desk-honestly one of the best guys ever. He instantly made us feel comfortable and was hilarious. The staff was on point, rooms were clean and the area was cozy and the wifi in the main hall room worked great. Definitely recommend!

Good location, good vibe in the common room. Water in showers was lukewarm.

My son (5 y) and me stayed for 3 nights and for 1 night: + friendly stuff + closed to O'Connell Street and Aircoach/ Airlink - very noisy (loudly doors, hand dryer...) you can hear everything through the walls - the rooms need more hooks!

I booked this hostel after a few days in Dublin. Apart from its location a bit further from the busy Temple bar, it's a the end of the 2nd commercial street of Dublin, and the hostel itself is very nice, good facilities, the luggage locker is very handy to store spare bags. Less noisy than the downtown ones, the staff is also very friendly and helpful, the kitchen is nice and there is the breakfast included. A good hostel!

Everything is great except for the cold showers and no wifi in the rooms.

So sorry to hear you had cold showers, There were a a few interruptions in the hot water at peak times due to tank capacity which is being worked on . We have wifi throughout the Hostel sorry if you could not get

Stayed in one of the private double rooms, had a great time. The location is perfect - very close to a major station and a coach station, and the sights are all in easy walking distance. The staff are the best - friendly, helpful and every tip they gave (day trips, cafes, pubs) was a massive hit. Would certainly stay there again. Free breakfast is a nice touch too.

Great stuff , thanks a million

The staff are excellent, the hostel well situated and not expensive. We would have liked a washbasin in our private room, but given the price, this is not a criticism. Noise at night was the only real problem - the fire doors make a loud clack, and when several people come home at around 3 in the morning, the noise can make it difficult to sleep. I was glad I brought my earplugs.

Thanks for your review Good idea re wash basin and we will look into this . Ear plugs always helpful in Hostel with a mixed crowd and we do have them at reception

We gained perfect advice from our check-in crew for a night out on the town for local Irish music! Later, they sent us to a great late-night eatery. We were glad to have such honest advice. The staff were extremely helpful, too, when we needed to print boarding passes. The hallways do echo when someone slams a door (which wouldn't matter if everyone was respectful of others); other than that, everything was clean and the atmosphere in the commons area was lively and cheerful.

Everything was perfect. The staff is very helpful; wifi is good enough ( I stayed in 2nd floor); bathrooms were always clean; beds were comfortables. It's good to have breakfast included (don't expect a continental breakfast but it's pretty good and worth it :)) The kitchen is good and fully equipped.

Brilliant thank you!

Nice staff and great location are the only qualities of the hostel. I didn't feel safe (no lockers in the room) and no place to charge the phones besides the bed (you need to leave the cell charging in a common area in the bedroom). It's too expensive for what it offers, one of the worst hostel I've ever stayed

Glad you liked our staff but so very sorry to hear that we disappointed in other ways.

Masive hostel, nice security (magnetics cards for every door), good walking distances from the oturism city centre. The hostel is really big wich is great for groups, but for solo or small groups of travellers might be not that attractive. Nice value for money.

Paper thin walls and floors making for a difficult sleep. Some of the bunk beds are directly under lights, so if you have the top bunk, it gets way too hot when the lights are on. Staff were very friendly however, and main common area makes it easy to meet other people.

O meu banheiro não tinha água quente, e precisei tomar banho no banheiro compartilhado.

My main complaint is that it is inconvenient not having lockers in the room. That said, it is a safe hostel in a good location near the city center, and about 15 or so minutes from the bars and shops. It is clean with good facilities. The staff was great with helping me book a daytrip with a tour company and a very early morning shuttle to the airport. You have to make a little bit of an effort if you want to meet people--not the best for solo travelers. Also, there are families that stay here.
