This is a much better choice than Paddy's Palace around the corner. The room I stayed in was right next to the railway but it was no problem. I stayed in the 16 bed dorm and it was nicely divided making it seem like a much smaller room. Helpful staff, nice, ect.

The staff has treated us in a really friendly and kindly way. They are polited and hard workers . They tried to help us every time we made a question or we had a problem. We felt good during our stay.

Nice staff, clean, big bedrooms and bathroom cabins. Good, equipped kitchen. Low price! Looks really new. The only problems were that the matrices seemed a little worn out and I didn`t have hot water all the days(but it was kinda warm, not cold). Recommended!

Isaacs Hostel is a great place. I was there for 2 nights and met great people. Aside from the rude man who covers the desk over-night, the employees at the hostel are great, and friendly people.

The bathroom set up was perfect and very clean. The locks on the doors were very reassuring because we knew no one without a swipe card could get in.

The showers were cold, all of them! The rooms were pretty sad looking and had no life. Beds were comfortable however the sheets gave both myself and my friend sore and itchy skin, assuming this is caused from the washing detergent. The hostel was so loud that we got woken up at least three times during the night. I know it's not a five star hotel but I felt like I was sleeping outside. Everytime someone went to the toilet or walked passed, we heard the creaky floors and doors shutting.

Good hostel. Rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast included. Fast wi-fi that worked even in the rooms. Was located within a 15 minute walk to Temple bar, and close to most other attractions. Overall a good hostel, well worth a stay.

Had a great time at this hostel, everything was always clean, staff were helpful with directions and information. The location is good, not far from where you want to be but far enough for a quiet night's sleep. The underground areas are great for sitting with friends. As other reviews have said it could be hot in the rooms at nights, and there could be a shortage of hot water in the morning but these weren't big problems for us. Gives you everything you need at a decent price.

Not in the best location & the train just kept on passing by the whole night (right outside our window). Room was also very warm, eventhough ventilators were provided. The 'ensuite' part of our room wasn't really ensuite. Granted, it was just outside our door, but we had to share it with an other room. And if you just needed to use the bathroom at night, you always needed to bring your cardkey with you if you wanted to get back into the room (which would have been nice at 3am...)

I stayed at Isaac's for one night, and didn't get to partake in most of their facilities. But it was a good basic hostel, in a good location.

It was within walking distance of many attractions. The staff was very helpful. I liked that there was a kitchen available for everyone to use. The rooms seemed pretty safe. The showers and bathrooms were very clean.

Overall it was a nice stay in Dublin. But frankly, the rooms are very clairaudient and nobody takes care about something called "sleep"! As the doors shut noisy and the other people in the hostel were awake the whole night and very noisy (banging the doors, tromping through the corridors, singing loudly), it was almost impossible to get a sleep - even in the single room. I am not talking about a quit boring hostel... But is it asking too much having a time off between 11 pm and 6 am?!

I loved the character of this hostel. The photos are exactly the way it is: beds and baths clean, the basement has a beautifully renovated living room, computer desks and wifi. The only downside is the hallways are noisy due to a lack of soundproofing. But other than that, the staff and facilities are great.
