Great hostel, but we went during a rather calm period (beginning of april) so we missed the friendly spirit. There were some larger groups as well, which makes the atmosphere more like a school trip. Anyway, we had a very nice stay in Isaacs Hostel, easy to find, helpful staff, comfy bunkbeds, clean lavatories, safe lockers. Sometimes it can be noisy, but hey, everyone's having a good time, so who cares. We never made it in time for breakfast, but I imagine it's good as well.

Good location. Wifi really only works in the lobby/basement. No lockers in the room, you have to go to the basement for them, and they cost something like 2-3 Euro/day. Staff at front desk was friendly/helpful.

Great location, friendly staff, lots of benefits at the hostel (pool table, ping pong, wifi zone, social area), helped me connect to the city with a free walking tour and 12 euro pub crawl at night. Highly recommended

Hostel atmosphere was great! Staff were extremely helpful and nice. Good cleanliness but wifi didn't work other than the lounge. No elevator which made it hard to lug our luggage to the very top floor. Also the doors weren't very sound proof and you can literally hear everything going on outside room doors. Guys and girls washrooms weren't clearly indicated and guys kept using the shower that's designated just for females.

Great hostel, very cheap and good atmosphere. Met lots of people and the facilities were nice. I personally thought the location was pretty ghetto & out of the way but tbh it didn't make much difference to our time there was a nice walk into the city & a cheap taxi home from clubs. Would happily recommend & stay again.

The best out of the 3 hostels I've been to in Dublin. Good location and felt safe. It had a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Wish there were more powerpoints in the room and the floor didn't creak, but no major complaints.

I couldn't use wifi on my floor.(I was in second floor) I had a heavy suitcase but there was not an elevator. However, staffs are very helpful. When I asked to carry my back, they kindly carry my heavy suitcase. I appriciate that.Except 2 front of my comment,It was good.

I stayed in a 6 bed mix dorm. This was the second time I have stayed at Isaacs and I enjoyed my stay again. The staff are friendly, the facilities are excellent and the hostel is clean. The hostel is good for relaxing or partying and they have lots of information on activities available around Dublin. Isaacs is a excellent hostel that I fully recommend.

I had a taxi booked at reception for €6 (supposedly) and paid the hostel €1 in advance in order to get to the airport. When we got there the cab driver charged me €25. Extremely frustrating. Thanks so much, guys!

The floors were so creaky in room 218 it was impossible to be quiet walking around in the morning/night. Also some of the staff were SUPER friendly and nice, others were not. They seemed more annoyed. Which I found annoying. Also, since there are not lockers in the room the basement lockers should be free, I have found this to be typical of other hostels.

The staff was awesome and extremely helpful! Couldn't have asked for better people to answer my questions and organize some day excursions for me. Thank you staff!

I was pretty disappointed by this hostel. There were no lockers available in the rooms, I could hear loud music playing all night and all day long (bring earplugs!). This is definitely more of a group hostel than for lone travellers, I had a hard time meeting new people both on the pub crawl and at the hostel. The internet did not work. The location is good though, a bus going to Dublin airport stops a few feet away.

Isaac's was the best. We loved the walking tour and we had a great time meeting people in the lobby. The only thing we didn't like was the assigned beds.

It was very noisy and too warm in the room (even though it was freezing outside). Some people used the hand dryers for hair drying and considering that the toilets were right in front of our room, it was very loud and annoying. Beds were very uncomfortable. The common area was very nice, good music and a nice atmosphere.

Very good overall. I guess the only feedback I'd give is that the room doors are hard to close without slamming them. As a result, if your room neighbours are anything less than fully committed to being quiet there is a lot of loud door slamming. I found this really annoying when trying to sleep so perhaps a please don't slam the door sign on each door would help. Other than that, very good.
