Hostel was good fun, but need to take a look into the hot water in the showers as there is none.

The kitchen is fair. There are only lockers in the basement and you have to pay to use them.

The hostel was very clean, I was impressed with this. Only issue was that there was a lot of noise (but it was Paddy's weekend) in the hallway, which woke us up a few times during the night. Didn't have much contact with the staff but they were doing an amazing job to keep things tidy.

Great location - cool hostel. Walls are pretty thin so if people in other dorms are up talking late at night, you will have trouble sleeping (par for the course in a hostel). Clothes dryers do not work - so don't bother trying to use them unless you have a clothesline so you can hang them to dry in your room like we did. They dried overnight, so no problem. Location made is super easy to get into and out of Dublin - right near the Train and Bus stations. Great access to O'Connell street.

The Hostel itself was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. the only problem was the water temperature in the showers which wouldn't go above lukewarm.

Actually ended up getting transferred to Jacob's as there was no hot water at Isaac's. They phoned to let me know 6 hrs in advance- not a problem as both hostels are so close anyway.

I actually stayed at Jacobs inn, which is like a brother hostel to the Isaacs and i LOVED IT i stayed there an entire week sharing a room with 10 people all the time but it was nice because i met people from all over the world, some drunk some not but eveyrone overall very nice i recommend Jacobs inn entirely, the staff is amazing, they always helped me, even when i missed a tour this girl helped me and got me to go to the cliffs of moher i have no idea how but she made it.

there was no hot water in our room despite telling the people at the reception twice, they got someone into look at it but didn't fix it. heating in our room didn't work the staff did not help with this problem at all. the kitchen facilities were awful, there were no forks, cutting knives or tea towels. so to get something out of the oven you had to use the paper towels provided. also the stove top didn't work at all. the place i also found to be very dirty..not clean at all

Great stay at this hostel, except for the trainline running just outside the window - it was rather noisy.

Great location and convenient for accessing the city centre or other transport links. Hostel was very clean in rooms and shower areas. Nice to be able to grab quiet time downstairs. Wi-fi was excellent for planning what I was doing and keeping in touch with others.

I stayed a total of three nights at Issacs Hostel Dublin and cannot find fault. The staff were very friendly and very helpfull. The dorms were clean and the overall atmosphere was relaxed.

Nice place with big rooms and friendly staff (even if you arrive late at night). All right location. (Dublin's really not that big, so you can walk everywhere.)

overall this hostel is good. location is okay. right next to it, there are some train tracks for there rail system. depending on the location of your room could be annoying for me it didnt bother much. hostel has huge lockers for your things if your arrive early, has laundry room, and free wifi

This hostel is definitely one of the best we have ever been to. Do not look for other options, this is where you should book.

The kitchen was very big comparing to other hostels. The rooms are big enough too (I stayed in a 12 female room and I still had plenty space to organize my stuff inside). I was there for NYE and considering how the prices rise to book that day this hostel was great: cheap, close to the city center and with a very good atmosphere inside. I recommend it!

The stay at Isaacs hostel was overall positive, however the train passing just outside some of the rooms should be mentioned since it made sleeping impossible at certain hours, felt like an earthquake.

The heating was too effective, they couldn't turn it off, but they did their best and after a while it worked. One of the workers didn't even know that they have a TV downstairs in the basement area, when we asked if there's a remote for it somewhere..
