Easily the most fun I've ever had staying at a hostel. Isaacs is a 10-15 minute walk to Temple Bar and a quick walk to O'Connell Street. The hostel goes out of its way to try and connect other travelers with each other. Pint and movie nights are the best and I met loads of people. However, lockers are kept in a separate room for 2 euro, so you can't lock your goods up with you. Bathrooms are shower stall and there's a LOUD train that runs until midnight. But I'd stay there again in a minute!

Had a fantastic stay here, all the staff I spoke to were amazingly helpful and really friendly. Met lots of guests here during my stay who were also really cool. The hostel is really big and lots of fun!

You should put up a note in the toilet saying that toilet paper should be thrown in :) (everybody's throws it in the basket and it becomes full)

Although I did notice the A4 page informing me of the optional ear plugs being sold at the reception, I could never have guessed I would actually need them. It appears that common sense is far from common as some disreputable individual chose to dry their hair... in the hallway. AT HALF PAST SIX A.M. Thus, considering how people are able to ignore even the most reasonable of advice (the sticker next to the hallway mirror), please include ear plugs in every reservation made.

Things that can be improved: *the breakfast; typical toast, marmelade and cereals. However a fridge gives the quests a chance to buy and cook their own stuff. *the shower heads were low and some were superhot with no chance to adjust the temperature. An extra plus for helping us when there had been a misunderstand when booking and we got a 16 bedroom at first instead of a 6. But with not much fuss, it became a 8 bed room for the same price. Great costumer service!

Hostel was fantastic, great location, friendly & helpful staff, great breakfast included and good facilities. Bathrooms were all really clean as was the dorm. One complaint is that it was unbelievably hot inside the dorm, so much so that I couldn't sleep even with the fan on. No complaints apart from that though and really can't go wrong with the price!

everything was fine except for the fact that while sleeping was woken up by the 'bouncy' floor, infrastructure very bad, I was on the top bunk and every time a person walked down the hall say for example at 3am my bed starts vibrating and jumping up and down. Not Good at all!!! :( I paid 45 euros for a single room, next time I'll think about a hotel for 60.

Hostel is clean and comfy, the only unconfortable thing for me it was that the lockers are in the basement and my room was in the 3rd floor. I stayed only for one night and it was nice. There's a small bar in the yard, and they also have very nice burger nights.

To few toilets for too many people. Sauna is not working but still offered. Restaurant belonging to Isaac's Hostel is just opening for lunch.

I spent 5 nights at Isaacs Hostel and I must say that it was a very good surprise for a first hostel ! Everything is clean, you can access a lot of services (wifi, free breakfast, advices ...) and the atmosphere is very friendly.

Overall excellent although the showers were too hot (temperature not adjustable) and they charge a lot for things like luggage storage (a lot of hostels offer this free), internet. However, it is clean and you get to meet lots of backpackers. It's a very corporate, efficient feeling hostel
