Nice stay, common areas are good, friendly staff. The kitchen however is very small and not welcoming. Free coffee and tea is a positive feature. We stayed in a 8-mixed-dorm and found it too small for such a large number of people. In the morning it was very smelly and we had to wake up. Toilets are few and a bit small as well. Atmosphere of the hostel is pleasant.

Isaacs Hostel is in a good location not far from Temple Bar. The staff were helpful and friendly. The 12 person dorm room I stayed in was really stinky and there wasn't a window to open and the dirty sheets the cleaners stored outside the room didn't help either! I also stayed in a 4 person room which was quite nice, just ask for one that isn't next to the staircase. The basement facilities are awesome, really good for chilling out. Overall Isaacs is a great hostel just pic your room wisely.

good sized rooms, basic breakfast, we were kept up all night with doors slamming, loud floorboards, no wifi in the rooms. rooms were clean but bathrooms could have been cleaner, nice staff who were helpful

This hostel was wondering! It was my first time ever staying in a hostel and I was made to feel very comfortable by the super helpful staff. My girlfriend and I were very pleased with the rooms and the bathrooms. Security is awesome, requiring a key card for every door. The staff was super helpful with directions and providing coffee and toast a little earlier than they normally allow. Thank you guys for a great experience. I loved Ireland and I loved this hostel and their staff.

Very good vibe in this hostel, the staff is nice and sociable, and I did not notice anything unpleasant about the rooms. I enjoyed my stay, even though I paid a lot to stay around St. Paddy's Day. Wi-fi connexion is also pretty terrible, unless you go in the basement.

I went there for St. Patrick's weekend and it was an excellent experience. The rooms were clean and big and the beds were comfortable, there were enough facilities for everyone, even considering that it was completely booked. The staff is really helpful, but the cleaning personnel is not. The location, although not centric, is less than 10 minutes away by walking and the atmosphere is very good, with lots of young people interested in partying. Definitely recommended.

Staff wee nothing but helpful, that was really impressive. There's always people hanging out in the lobby so it's not difficult to make new friends!

This hostel was packed to the rafters when we were there. It was a nice place with lots of character I just wish they didn't have so many people. It was also packed with many groups... We were guessing school tours? So it wasn't easy to meet people because so many groups were there.

Lockers should be in each room and linen could be better prepared. For the rest, excellent for its price!

The location was great, no more than a five minute walk to the middle of the city. The atmosphere was so nice and the staff were so helpful. I will stay there if I ever get back to Dublin.

Rude, unhelpful, dishonest receptionists. Especially if you stayed longer when they get suspicious and tired of you .Like me being asked to leave suddenly after my staying for one month without harming anything in the hostel. 1.terrible reading area in the basement :poor lightening ,airless ,noise from ground... 2.Room is always too hot or too cold 3.kichen is tiny ,messy and always missing cooking ware However: 1.in the weekends ,crazy and great parties by some latinos 2.great locatio

Because Issacs is so large, they can offer good amenities and services, unfortunately this also means its pretty loud. All in all, I had a decent experience though.

this hostel is fairly good and really cheap. the bathrooms are pretty clean. but i would like to suggest they put lockers inside the rooms. they only have lockers in the basement and that is really inconvenient plus not safe.
