This hostel is in a fantastic location with a huge range of facilities and very helpful staff who will reccomend anyting from a good irish pub for food or a venue for everyone and a price guide so you know whether your being ripped off or not. Very helpfull I would definitely stay here again.

This hostel has almost everything what good hostel should have. Except of small problems with card reader in room, there were no disadvantages for me. Mostly I like helpful, symphatic, well-informed crew on the reception and unique atmosphere inside the hostel. In comparison to quality, it is not as expensive. Summoning up it was appriopriate decision to choose Isaacs hostel.

This place has a really nice atmosphere and really friendly people. Unfortunately I was silly enough to leave my wallet in my room and money was stolen, so just be careful of personal belongings in this place!

Great staff and location, and we met some great people in the common areas. Showers are, tragically, below body temperature (there's no temperature control, just a button). 3/4 washing machines are out-of-order. 2/3 vending machines are out-of-order. No hot water in the kitchen, and it took us about 10 minutes to find a stove set that worked. In short, decent hostel with some facilities issues.

Great hostel, real good value for your money. Only downsides were the very hard mattress in my bunk bed and the lack of personal lockers underneath your bed. You had to store you luggage in your dorm without any security. If you wanted a locker, you had to pay for it. But the hostel is very clean, great location, good facilities and a beautiful basement!

Had a fantastic stay here, staff were very helpful and good for a laugh! Lots of tours/pub crawls to keep you entertained. The atmosphere was great only annoyance was the security inside the rooms....no lockers!!!!! Get up with the times guys! Other than that LOVED it and will happily stay there again and recommend it!

Isaacs was great. The atmospher can't be beat. There are many areas to hang out and meet fellow travelers. I would definitely come back here if I was back in Dublin. The staff is very very helpful with directions, day trips and other information about the city.

I found the place to be comfortable and cozy. Also extremely clean, even though it was full of people on the day I arrived, but the girls' bathroom on the 2nd floor was always spic and span. I didn't use the kitchen that much but it also looked impecable. The room itself had the correct size for 8 girls, but there were no lockers there, and if you wanted one, it was in the basement and it had an extra cost per day. As for the breakfast, it was really simple but for that money it was worth it!

Perfect location , literally around the corner from the bus station and tram network. Very close walk to super market and definitly walkable distance to city centre. Staff very very helpful. Good kitchen facilities and great atmosphere. Ddfinitly go on the walking tour and theres a pub crawl every night! Room very good size. Definitly worth a stay! If I head back to dublin wewill be staying at issacs again

Overall not a bad hostel... Just huge, so it lacks the family character I usually look for in a hostel. However, it is in a cool old building, and they have a sauna. You are right next to/under the DART so every now and then you get flash backs to Chicago in the 1930s (trains screeching), but honestly, that just adds extra atmosphere. Nice staff, huge lockers for rent. Not bad at all.

Very cheap, excellent location, helpful staff. But extremely bad ventilation (this is the worst thing), looks old and not maintained as well I would hope. But again it was very cheap.

The staff is incredible and very educated about the city in which they are in. I had no problem asking them where the best places to go were outside the touristy box. Our room and showers were always clean, the facilieties- sauna, pool table (was out of order while we are there), ping pong table, and self catered kitchen, with breakfast included is definitely worth the money we paid for :D. Only down side is the walls are thin, might want to bring ear plugs if you are not fiesta-ing yourself.

Nice hostel, the staff were very friendly and chatty. A full English breakfast included in the price which was wonderful. Can't fault the hostel at all.

Actually the rooms were really clean, only the restrooms were neglected but not because of the hostel, but because of people who don't care and do not clean their stuffs.

Very noisy during the night. That was written that after 11PM people must be carefull about noise, but they definitly don't.

I can honestly say that the least friendly people I met in all of Ireland were the employees at the hostel. The floor on the third floor was incredibly loud so that anytime anyone passed, it sounded like a herd of elephants. Really need to fix that. Having hair-blowing stations right outside the rooms is not a good idea in any way. I didn't appreciate the sexually explicit music playing in the lobby. Just tacky. Bathroom was dirty, hand dryer didn't work the entire time we were there.
