The atmosphere in the hostel was very good. The staff introduced every new guest which created an open and welcoming feeling. I met a lot of people there and the staff went along talking and drinking with us. A very good experience.

Old building that has been remodeled by current owner. He has redecorated it in a very chill manner. The whole place has a very hippy and welcoming atmosphere. The owner is very friendly and talkative and tries to have a very open and social hostel environment. There is a common area/lobby all on the first floor, as well as a decent kitchen for use. After 11:30 the owner keeps the place quiet, but since it is an old building you can still hear the traffic outside a bit.

Nice hostel which provides some games and books for travellers. I stayed for a night there, and it happens that we experienced strong wind such that we couldn't leave the hostel. Some of us ended up playing cards to kill time. The location is really close to the train station and the outer shrine.

Very quaint and electic, rather old and creaky but because of that, it charmed me. Stayed in 4 different hostels while in Japan then (i'm excluding the ryokans i stayed in) and I enjoyed my stay in Kazamiso the most. It has a warm homely and welcoming atmosphere, unlike chain hostels with the whole commercial efficiency. The staff encourage guests to mingle around, and many local japanese from other parts of Japan stay there - no better opportunity to find out more of the local culture! Bernice

The Owner & staff was very nice. The location is very good near the station.I the room we had was double room 2 bed but the upper bed is very close to the heater so it's too warm for me when sleep in the upper bed. Other things is fine for me, ait's good value for moneyll in all

Stayed here acouple of times, great place! Just round the corner from the train station, not far from the inner and outer shrines either. The rooms are pretty spacious. Hiro the owner is a good guy and the staff are excellent - Yuki is the best cook in Mie! Hopefully stay here again some time. Jamie

proximity to the train station and major attractions. easy to find. The hostel is very well decorated. stayed in the female dorm which was a bunk bed with curtain, electric plug and locker. The host speaks good English and is very nice. The female staff is very cheerful and her cooking is amazing. I had great night hanging out with the host, staffs and other guests at the Japanese style living room, I wish I had time to stay a few more nights. Best hostel!

I love this hostel! Near Ise station and you can go around almost every spots at Ise by Hostel's bicycle. Nice painting on walls, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, warm hospitality from staff, etc. It's only one hostel in Ise, I strongly recommend you to stay for hostel lovers.
