Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would def come back to Isla Gecko and recommend to my friends. Location is great, right next to D'Mall and various restaurants & bars! Two thumbs up!

The owner was very helpful to me in arranging my packages and getting me in last minute into various things. Also lent me his laptop upon request. Very friendly and nice setting!

The owners and staff of the hostel were amazingly friendly and very accommodating. The location of the hostel was good, being just steps from the Station 2 beach and next to d'Mall - one would however be expected to carry their luggage down a small alleyway (with no vehicle access) for a good few hundred metres if choosing to stay here. Quite a few mosquitoes in the premises, so bug spray definitely recommended though the staff try their best to kill what they can in the main dining/lobby area

The rooms are very damp, and they didn't clean my room once. Also, be careful when the owner offers to 'loan' you his motorbike. It doesn't come cheap!!

Everything about Isla Gecko was amazing! The staff was so helpful. The owners were so friendly. The location was a three minute walk from White Beach. The lodgings were clean, comfortable, and safe. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to anyone one else.

Fantastic place to stay in Boracay! I just got back from 3 days at Isla Gecko and I strongly recommend it. Great location a minute from White Beach. It's down an alleyway from the beach station two, which sounds dodgy but boracay is so safe and friendly to tourists, I never once felt uneasy as a girl on my own, even walking home in the early hours! The hotel staff and owners v welcoming, good breakfast (try the omelettes!), you can email beforehand to organise v good airport transfer
