Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful location (although not so central), good price and he even lent me a bike for the duration of my stay. Cons: Not very clean, mosquitos biting me all night, shower is more like a dribbling hose and there was no one else staying there at the beginning of Oct.

It is not the most clean place but the location, the staff and just the character of the place made atleast forget about the cleanliness.. and its not that dirty but it depends on how you like it. i didnt care. on my one month trip this was not the most fancy place i had but it was the greatest! 3 doorms, and a big sunterrace with water vue, and bars and restaurants all around it. and its close to town. And hopefully theres great people staying there when you are then its just alot of party =)

Friendly sociable atmosphere at the hostel, BUT there's only a glass wall between dorms and communal terrace (with booming speaker system), so definitely not the place to go if you actually want a decent night's sleep. Good if you just want somewhere to hang out & aren't fussy about cleanliness either.

The only hostel on margit island. Really cool place to chill out. def not a party hostel but makes up for it with hospitality and knowledge. Viktor who runs the place is a ledgend, knows his stuff and so helpful with any questions. Sick garden bars next door andhuge pools close by. Place is very secure and huge balcony for lots of ppl. Only downfall when we were there is that the no. 4&6 tram didnt stop close by due to bridgeworks. Definatley will be back!! **Highly reccomend** cheap as well

Loved this hostel! It's on an island in the middle of the Danube. The views from this hostel are amazing from the terrace looking out onto the river. The island is a park with clubs and everything already on it. Shops were off the island, but were still close enough. Highly recommend this hostel

What a fantastic hostel! The staff were very cool, and the place is just enjoyable. a bit of a pain to get to from the airport, but it is an island and the view you get is lovely. Wouldn't say its the cleanest hostel I stayed at but I absolutely loved it. I would strongly recommend it!!!
