Island House South beach, a fully restored historic Art Deco Hotel, offers comfortably furnished accommodations to all travellers - independent backpackers, couples, families! We have rooms ranging from single rooms to studios and suites.
Centrally located in the heart of South beach, we are walking distance to hot sizzling nightlife, bars, and a variety of restaurants, from outdoor cafes and neighbourhood diners, to trendy bistros and elegant restaurants with world-famous cuisine. One block to white sandy beaches, the tropical ocean breezes, the swaying coconut palms, the clear Blue Ocean and warm rays from the sun create a romantic setting.
Start the morning off by enjoying a complimentary full breakfast buffet with your new neighbours, served upstairs in the breakfast room overlooking Collins Avenue. Enjoy complimentary beer and wine served for Happy Hour on weekends.
Room rate is not inclusive of state and local taxes, currently 13%. Check-in time is 2:00pm and checkout time is 11:00am

I have been in many crappy places, but this is absolutely the worst. After the first night I woke up over a smashed cockroach that was probably murdered by me during my sleep. After complaining someone plucked it out of my bed, and there it stayed forever, among with two other. The place is a ruin. It stinks. No security at all. Price is outrageous. The drag-queen clerk walking around on robes gave me nightmares. Next time I will share a bench with any bum on the streets.
