Island House South Beach

Island House South beach, a fully restored historic Art Deco Hotel, offers comfortably furnished accommodations to all travelers - independent backpackers, couples, and families! We have rooms ranging from single rooms to studios and suites.

Centrally located in the heart of South beach, we are within walking distance to sizzling hot nightlife, bars, and various restaurants, from outdoor cafes and neighborhood diners to trendy bistros and elegant restaurants with world-famous cuisine. One block to white sandy beaches, the tropical ocean breezes, the swaying coconut palms, the clear Blue Ocean, and the warm rays from the sun create a romantic setting.

Start the morning off by enjoying a complimentary continental breakfast consists of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, oatmeal, individual cold cereal boxes, assorted yogurts, assorted juices, bananas, and an assortment of pastry items. It’s free, and intended to be a quick snack on the run, not a full sit-down breakfast.

Unfortunately, we do not have a restaurant-style kitchen on site that would allow us to serve a hot American-style breakfast, or we would.
The room rate is not inclusive of state and local taxes, which is currently 14%. Check-in time is 3:00 pm, and checkout time is 11:00 am.
Just so you know, 100% of the first night will be charged on the day of booking. For us to apply for your room rental. You will need to present the same credit Card at the check-in so that we can imprint your card. We must also make a copy of your identification, such as your driver's License, State or Military ID, Passport, or Visa.

Upon Check-in, all guests must place a security deposit on their room via credit/debit or cash, and this deposit covers room damages (if any). When providing a credit card, authorization will be placed on the card for $100.00 for all reservations. Debit Card authorizations will appear as a 'pending charge' on the card. Once a guest has checked out authorizations, it typically takes 3 to 5 days to be removed. We do not control how long it takes for a hold to be removed. The issuing bank determines this.

Cancellation: If you cancel seven days before the arrival date, no fee will be charged by the property. If canceled later or in case of a No-Show, 100% of the first night will be charged. The rates are based according to the number of person reserved. You are welcome to have an additional guest(s); however, there is an additional charge for extra guest(s) at the rate of $25.00 per person/per night plus taxes.
