Good location. 5 mins walk to yuan shan mrt. Direct airport transfer from yuanshan too. One stop away from shilin night market. The hostel is well kept though it is quite smelly at the shoes area.
Even though it was a little far from the city side, they have bicycles which you can use to cycle out to get your meals. When I was there, there was only one other guest, so not much of interaction. Initially, I booked the dorm rooms but got upgraded for free to a private room. Lucky me haha. Being far from the city side of Puli, you can enjoy the night view up on the balcony and look at the stars. But be prepared to get bitten by mosquitoes, or just spray some repellent which they do provide.
A bit distant from city center, about 1 km, 15 min walking distance from bus station. And since it is away from city center, it is a nice place to chill and watch stars! Staff r friendly and pretty helpful. :)
Islet Inn was a really fun place to stay! Great facilities with lots of games and activities, it is really easy to meet people. Although it is down a long country road, there are restaurants and a weekend night market within walking distance (10 minutes or so). Taxis are cheap and convenient to get around Puli or to Sun Moon Lake.
The staff was super helpful in telling me the transport to my destinations. The environment was very relaxing and clean. My room was tidied up when I'm out in daytime. It took about 10-15 mins to cycle to downtown Puli, but the bicycles are borrowed for free. Though the location is a bit inconvenient, I saw fireflies at night near the hostel!

Great place to stay at with comfortable rooms. The staff speak brilliant English and were very friendly and helpful. The bar was also nice to sit in for an evening beer after a days sight seeing around the area.

At first i thought it's more like a hostel as others, but turns out we got a room like a little hotel, the place is a bit surprised me at first, seems like not easy to get along, but then the night market and bus station is not far and you can just take their bike, no extra fee! We only stay for 1 night and if we've got time we really wanna stay more nights!! You will never get bored, for so many facilities like table tennis, skateboard, board games, books (chinese n eng), big place movie night
