Loved my stay at Harmony! The beds are comfortable & have huge storage spaces as well as lockers for valuables you don't want to store under the bed. On the rooftop is a fantastic terrace with pillows, tables & a bar to lounge at where the friendly, fun & knowledgeable staff facilitates a great atmosphere when not wandering the nearby sights, restaurants and bars. They also serve a delicious & filling breakfast! Thanks Harmony :)

Harmony Hostel was amazing. Rooftop bar had an amazing view and the staff was super helpful. All around master of games, salsa dancing and fish bbq (aka. "The Man") Mahmood, Stella the psychologist and backgammon champ Ahmed can hook you up with the cheapest stuff around. The hostel is in a great location, about 5-10 min walk to pretty much all the touristy things around. Had a great time in general and would love to go back. Highly recommended.

Very good hostel well located in Istanbul, the terrace at the last floor is wonderful. The staff is conscientious and always wants to be able to offer the best to its customers. Good continuation, good luck, and thank you. Bisoux à Stella :)

Great hostel at a perfect location for sightseeing located right down the hill from the Hagia Sophia and a 5 min walk to the Bosphorus River and the ferry. The staff was very personable and made gave the hostel a welcoming feel. Mahmud made great lunches, cooked a terrific fish dinner, and late night meals for the group and was a great host! Ahmed and Stella were also tremendous staff and always the gave any advice you will need on where to go in the city. I highly recommend this hostel!

The staff was amazing. They were all extremely helpful, and really wanted you to have a great time in Istanbul. The free breakfast every morning on the rooftop terrace was absolutely beautiful. And the breakfast was great too. Our room was very clean, and we had a great view out of our window. Location was perfect, right next to the Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque. Overall, one of the best hostels I have stayed in while traveling around Europe. I would highly recommend it to a friend.

Great all-around hostel. The staff was very friendly (thanks Stella and Rami!) and Mahmood cooks a mean BBQ. Late night he even rustled up some eggs and potatoes that were bomb.com. The hostel is exactly the right size, big enough so there are always new faces but small enough for it to feel like a community. The terrace on the top floor is amazing on a sunny day.

Easily the best hostel I've ever stayed in!! The location is literally perfect and Rami, Stella, Mahmood & Ahmed are all super welcoming. The rooftop terrace is the ideal place to look out over the city and enjoy endless apple teas or beers. The staff are also awesome at recommending cheap and delicious places to eat nearby, like Balkan!! My only regret is missing Mahmood's *famous FISH BBQ* - I guess this just gives me one more reason to come back to this gem of a city!

It's a great hostel, the only real problem I had was that I tried to get in at 7 am, assuming this would be ok because they advertise 24hr front desk, however the place was locked and when I called the bell a few times no one answered. I went back at around 9am and was able to get straight in :)

Harmony Hostel has a great location in Istanbul. It is 5 minutes walk to the main attractions like Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and 2-3 minutes walk to the ferry terminals. The staff was very helpful and would go out of their way to help book city tours, outside city tours and airport transfers. Harmony offers a decent breakfast in the morning and every other day depending on the participants offers a roof top fish BBQ, at a very nominal price. Special thanks to the two great chefs, Ahmad and Mahmod

I really liked the hostel. The staff is friendly, terace on the roof is perfect for meeting people or just enjoying the moment. The only drawback are transparent curtains which let morning light in the room-

The roof-top-bar is AWESOME, best place to stay for a relaxed night, rooms are absolutely OK for the money, location more or less perfect (5min to the big mosques, 5 min to Bosporus) -> perfect value for money!

Was a great stay. The night we were there one of the hostel workers cooked a BBQ of whole fish, salad and bread for 15turkish lira, it was amazing! In a great position too.

Best Hostel i have stayed at so far. The staff are Extremely friendly, some of the nicest people i have met. I Loved the food, There was a fish barbecue every other night which was fantastic and was a reasonable price, free breakfast which was great. The rooftop bar had such a good atmosphere i actually preferred to stay there than go out to clubs most nights. Great location, central to all the major tourist attractions, 5 minute walk to Hagia Sofia and blue mosque .
