Absolutely great location. Beautiful view of the sea and hagia sofya from the rooftop. Staff were wonderful! Emre and the other reception staff helped a lot with directions and suggestions of places to visit. Very fond memories dining on the rooftop with Hagia sofya and the sea in view. Rooms were always kept clean and the atmosphere was very homey! Worth every dime and will definitely stay there if ever I travel to Istanbul again. The neighbourhood was filled with friendly people!

We had a great stay at İstanbul Hostel. Origonally planned to stay 2 nıghts but ended up stayıng a week. The locatıon ıs great of course and hostel itself was clean and in good condiion. The staff really made the stay in the hostel and the resturant upstairs. Everyones smiling and welcoming. Inparticular Paco on reception was very friendly and kept trying to teach us some Turkish - which required some patience! Teşekkür ederim Istanbul Hostel!

We had a very great stay in Istanbul Hostel. The Hostel is located next to Aya Sofia and all the other Sultanahmet Hotspots. The view from the rooftop terasse is lovely and the food is ok and low priced.

Excellent location right near the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. Staff were very helpful and friendly, although the rooms and bathrooms could have been cleaner.

This hostel was actually a really good choice mostly because of the location. It is within walking distance of everything you'd like to see in Istanbul. Even though they messed up my reservation the first night, the rest of my stay was pleasant and the staff was really nice. The breakfast consists of traditional Turkish breakfast (boiled egg, cucumber, tomato, bread w/jam and olives, coffee or tea). Bathrooms are not the best, but they're ok if you don't expect luxury. Rooms are fine, beds comfy

Great location and very helpful staff!

The Hostel is very good located in the main spot of Istabul ; walking distance to reach Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia etc2. Unfortunately my friend lost his handphone during the stay. Probably being stolen by the person who stay in our room. The cleanliness of its toilet can be improve more. But overall it was a very good stay and we enjoy it!

Although the room was a shared one it was very lovely and confortable. The location is great. It needs more toilets and maybe more confortable (the toilet cabine was too small)

I had a great time in istanbul hostel, the staff is very nice and helpful and I made good friends as well. . It is very close to the main sights and to the tramway. They also have a terrace with a.great view over the bosphore . A good value for your money. Bring your own padlock to lock your locker. Ask for Paco he'll tell you about all the.good plans in the city and might even drink a beer with you! I'll come back here for my next visit to Istanbul.

Istanbul hostel is in a great location with plenty to see and do in the area. The staff were very friendly and helpful and could answer any questions. The terrace bar had great views of Istanbul.

Great location and tremendous staff service.

Staff was very helpful, restaurant on the roof had great views and good deals for hostel guests (I ate there a lot because food in the old city is so expensive), nice showers and bathrooms, beds seemed bigger than normal which was great because I'm a big guy. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a hostel in sultanahmet.

Nice place, wonderful staff! the terrace on the bosphorus is a nice place to have lunch or dinner. Istanbul hostel is the place to stay in Istanbul!

The hostel is really nice, with excelent location. It takes only 5 minutes walking to the Blue Mosque and Haghia Sophia. There are food and drinks for good price and the staff are nice and give you a lot of information and attention.

GREAT location!!! Me and my friend stayed there for 8 nights - 24 hours hot water, clean rooms & bathrooms, free internet, hair dryer... and very friendly and helpful staff - thanks guys :))) Also u can enjoy an amazing view from the terrace while having breakfast !! I'll definitely stay there next time when I go to Istanbul :)

We stayed at Istanbul hostel for six nights and overall we wouldn’t recommend the place due to several reasons: - Restrooms were disgustingly dirty - Reception staff was quite noisy at night, playing music and chatting loudly - No meeting/ social room, making it hard to socialize - Hostel recommendations only aimed for their own profit (when asking for a good place to eat we were always recommended to eat at the hostel restaurant) Overall: Not good!
