Excellent location just next to Sultanahmet. A no-frills hostel, but recommended for its location and value. To staff - please provide more lockers in the room (or at least fix the broken ones, thanks).

Had a good time here. Location is superb, staff very friendly. Does not really have a common area, although there's a bar upstairs..

The staff is very nice and kindly. If can provide more sockets will be better.

This hostel is overrated!

Great hostel, Paco is the best (Recepcion), the breackfast is included, internet free wifi. The only thing that i didnt like it was that there are not lockers. Anyway I was one week without any problem Thankyou

Clean bathrooms, hot showers, friendly reception staff, rooftop bar, close to all the sights in sultanahmet. Unfortunately the security in the big dorms could be better. The hostel is open for anyone to walk into for the restaurant/bar which means on the walk up the stairs they can go into any room and most ppl in the dorms don't lock the doors and there's no lockers. If you have valuables you can lock them in the safe downstairs though.

friendly staff, very good location, nice terrace and breakfast is also good, very good internet connection!

Wonderful! The staff was very nice and always ready to help! Had a great time and met the most interesting people! Definitely recommend it, Free Breakfast with a breathtaking view on their rooftop and steps away from all the main sights. Thanks for a great time!

This hostel has a great location -- really close to all the major and exciting things to do in Istanbul and the staff are really friendly and happy to help point you in the right direction anywhere you want to go. Its a busy place but lots of fun!! I loved my stay here :-)

Thank you very much for a wonderful stay, location is superb – amazing view into Agia Sofia (3min walk away) and Bosporus from the terrace. Internet connection is available, beds are big and clean, rooms are spacious. And hostel staff are very friendly and helpful and I met some amazing travellers on the way too. Good luck with the hostel. I already miss Istanbul

I stayed in the 21 dorm. Which I can not in good faith recommend to anyone. The door to the dorm does not lock, and it would be possible for some one to walk in off the street down to the room without passing the reception desk. There are also no lockers in the 21 dorm. The dorms were mostly clean but there were some very dusty corners. All other reviews of breakfast are highly exaggerated. The location is great.

Amazing stay here, manage to visit again at the end of my month long trip. Totally 5 nights here! All is perfect. Thanks Paco, too. The best and he most helpful person working at the hostel.

great location and the staff was very friendly and helped with all matters at hand. They're really good at remembering names!

All around a great hostel. The area is very touristy compared to the other side of the golden horn and it's reflected in the staff and the atmosphere of the hostel. Very business in and out oriented and very busy. Good wifi, good breakfast. It got noisy at night because of all the night owls coming in and out. There are rooms next to reception where people are sometimes louder. Bathrooms were generally clean but there were many people to just a few bathrooms. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Great time at Istanbul hostel. Staff is very friendly and helpful! Prime location for seeing some of the major sights in the city, and close to a tram station which makes for an easy airport transfer.

Great location, 2 mins walk from Sultanament and Aya Sofia, plus some other sightseeling places, like the rest of Istanbul, you can easily find food around the street corner. Good value for the money and breakfast included, every morning, it's quite nice to have breakfast with a sea view in front of me. I like it~!~

If your aim is the historical places in Istanbul, it is a perfect option.

This hostel is in a great location and I would recommend it if you want to be in this area. Sometimes the staff is shared between a travel agency/booking place (they're everywhere), which was kind of weird for us when we showed up...but overall the staff are nice and helpful. The bathrooms were just fair and we weren't given a key to our room, as it was always left open (as was the front door). There is a notable lack of common area, except for the (admittedly nice) bar/cafe on the roof.

Best hostel in Istanbul. Really friendly staff!!

The hostel is at great location, just a few minutes from Aja Sofia, Blue Moscowe, Topkapi Palace. The staff was great. Rooms and bathroom were cleaned every day. There was hot water 24 hours. I recomended this hostel and I would come back there again.
