The rooms and beds are very comfortable and the staff ıs very friendly.

Great hostel in a fantastic part of the city! Two small things I didn't like: (1) the guys toilets weren't always clean and (2) the owner asked me to fill out the review of his hostel in front of him and give them 100% for everything. That aside, I do recommend the hostel. It's great value for money.

This hostel is amazing. Stunning rooftop balcony serving delicious kebabs , , minutes walk to main mosques and bazaars , the Golden Horn and its delicious seafront meals and the nightlife, What else could you ask for? Paco and the rest of the super friendly staff will greet you warmly and will take care of any need , Thayer in the house travel agency that knows their business will design a trip to Capadocia and beyond and its all inexpensive and clean. A home run!!

Istanbul hostel is a little more expensive than other places for the same dorm experience. It's got a great roof top restaurant, the food is nice and the view is even better. The included breakfast is lackluster. All and all not a bad place to stay.

Hostel was clean and has everything you need for a budget hostel. The free breakfast was a nice touch. The staff here were great and helped us book the rest of our Turkey adventure.

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights and we couldn't have picked a better place. The rooftop views were excellent, the free breakfast an added bonus, and the beds were comfortable. This was an excellent value for the price, as the hostel was in a very safe area just minutes walking distance from the main sites and a well connected tram line. But the best part was the staff. They were friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile. One staff member loaned us his own metro pass! So kind!

First time reviewer- I have never written a review about a hostel before but felt i had to write a review about this place however because it was so good. The staff were not only extremely friendly they were also helpful. For example even after i had left the hostel because it was booked out they spent the time to help me find another location. The room was clean, safe and comfortable. The rooftop bar had an excellent view and cheap drinks and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended!!!!!

Really nice hostel. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for getting out and about to close by attractions. Beds were comfortable and the upstairs bar is great for an afternoon drink!

Our stay at Istanbul Hostel was AMAZING! The staff was really helpful and kind. My girlfriend twisted her ankle and they were really helpful about that.The location is perfect: 5 minute walk to Blue Mosque/Hagia Sofia. The restaurant upstairs was really good, Minami works really hard and she was always smiling. There was no lockers in the 21 bed dorm, but we didn't feel unsafe at all. If we go back to Istanbul, we will go to Istanbul Hostel again, no doubt about that! Thanks again for the ice!

Great hostel - friendly staff, tasty food & an amazing location

I enjoyed my stay in Istanbul Hostel - it's located directly in the center of Istanbul, I met nice people and the staff is really nice :). I totally recommend staying there!

Lovely roof terasse! Right next to the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, cool.

Great location, kind staff and a social atmosphere. This place seems to attract the right kind of travellers.

We took a private for one night between the flights. Our room was separate from the hostel together with 2 more rooms (privates, I guess). The facility (former appartment?) also had 2 shower rooms and a kitchen. Everything was new and clean. We also had breakfast, which was served on the hostel rooftop - and THAT is a very nice spot. Staff is nice and helpful. And location is marvellous - just 3-5 mins on foot to Aya Sofia.

I really liked it there! Everything I wanted to visit was really close. Prices were standard and I liked their hospitality. Would reccomend it!

we had a really great stay as a group of psychology students from around europe invaded. staff very helpful. food could be better and don't forget to bring a padlock for the lockers. Chris
