i think it's very cheap and safe place to stay in istanbul..on the other hand istanbul hostel is very close to historical places of istanbul so you do not need to take a txi or bus to go some where ..i just stay there 1 night but it was avesome..

Lovely staff. Bathrooms quite clean but not always hot water. Rooms were clean but very, very hot at night. Great value for money.

We had booked 8 nıghts but cancelled after the 1st. We dıdnt get the room we booked, there were no room keys & no lockers. The breakfast was terrıble & the staff were very unorganısed! We have stayed ın alot of hostels throughout Europe - some great & some not so great but thıs was just dısgustıng. Even though ıts cheap & the locatıon ıs good we would not recommend thıs hostel!

istanbul hostel is great place...highly recommended.there is a guy at the reception,his name is emre who I fallen love.but he already married.nice atmosphere,perfect place.İD :)))

you get what you give... the night is worth 10€‚ so don't expect clean bathrooms at all, if you find one clean consider yourself lucky. Location is great for sightseeing but not that much for going out at night. Other than that, it's a good and cheap choice to stay in Istanbul

Me and my friend visited Istanbul in our Turkey tour... and stayed in Istanbul Hostel, and i must say that it was really perfect! first of course we were scared since it is our first backpacking experience but now we are really happy to choose that hostel, and next time..we will also come here:)))

I spent here 5 nıghts; and I am ımpressed how they were kınd. The roof ın hostel has very nıce vıew on Agıa Sofya-maınly tourıstıc atractıon. Rooms are clean, baths have all the tıme hot water. Staff are very hostable and they helped me amout some cıty ınformatıons. I can say the best thıngs about Istanbul hostel!!!

No air conditioning / fans = Pretty hot in the middle of summer. But perfectly adequate otherwise
