This hostel was excellent. Extremely close to everything and easy to find. Ppl there were very helpful and friendly. Easy to meet some great Ppl. Everyone gets together to party, but go they out at night so there are minimal disturbances late at night in the common areas for when you need some sleep. Small hostel and tight knit atmosphere was a nice change from mega hostels.

I had a wonderful stay at Itaca Hostel. Their staff was extremely helpful and very quick. The rooms were very clean. Itaca offered a homely atmosphere that cannot be found in other hostels. Great for meeting fellow travelers and having a good time.

I spent 5 nights at Itaca (3 of them with 3 other friends) and I definitely recommend it. Staff is helpful and welcoming. Bed, bathroom and common spaces are really clean (and I can compare with many hostels where I have been before). Even the kitchen where breakfast inluded is served is impeccable. The most for the gourmand : you have many choices of jam, marmelade, spreads and honey!! Do not hesitate, go to Itaca!

I like the atmosphere of this hostel! Really nice place! I recommend it.

Nice hostel. Only stayed one night but they were very accommodating. Slightly difficult to find because its on a tiny side street but its block from the cathedral and the rest of the Gothic quarter. Would stay again.

The staff was friendly. The location was great and not too noisy. The other guests were considerate and easy-going.

We'd spent one night in a private room, which was in a separate building together with two other private dorms. The whole flat was really clean, the room had enough space and the kitchen combined with the living room where modern but cosy. Also the bathroom was really nice and new. I'd definitely choose this private room again!

Itaca was a welcoming and friendly hostel. The staff was helpful in recommending things to do. It was VERY easy to meet people.I went on the free walking tour (highly recommend!) and to a jazz club that they told me about. So glad they provided information on how to make the most of Barclona. The breakfast had a few types of cereals, toasts, yogurt, good coffee, and plenty of jams and spread. It's located near the Cathedral and the airport shuttle stop, so finding it was a breeze from anywhere!

This is a lovely place run by a wonderful couple. everything is well kept and very clean. They are very warm and welcoming and super helpful. The pension is located at walking distance from the beach. If you want to go to the center you have to walk more but its a wonderful beatiful walk from the beach to the city centre. I fully recommend this place! Thanks for making my stay a beatiful one.

Great location! Twin room was basic but adequate. A Bit stuffy. Friendly staff.

We were very happily with Itaca Hostel! However, the breakfast was a little bit too poor to us, and the place in the kitchen for the amount of the Appartment inhabitants was small a little bit.

The staff here are really great, friendly and helpful. I liked the common area, it was really comfy, more like a lounge room at home and they show a movie every night. Only downside is that it was really hard to find!!

Itaca hostel was a great place to stay in Barcelona. I couldn't believe how great the location was, right in the middle of the gothic area and so close to the breathtaking cathedral! I was able to walk almost anywhere. The staff here were fantastic, especially one woman who worked in the mornings, I can't remember her name. She was fantastic, helpful and very friendly. I felt very welcomed.

Very clean facilities. Our bed sheets smelled newly washed. There is no elevator but its only 1 floor up. The front staff are all great, every one of them. The only complaint I get is that there is no wireless internet outside of the common room. Nowadays everybody needs internet and just about everything is done through it. Although there are 2 public computers in the lobby downstairs, it is still a little inconvenient. Otherwise everything is great on this hostel.

We stayed in an apartment sererapte to the Hostel which was great. It was clean and well equiped for a few days in the Centre of Barcelona.

Great Hostel in central Barcelona. Clean facilities and friendly staff. Although it's lack of atmosphere (e.g. Bar?), it was a very nice hostel!

Everything OK, room clean, facilities available (kitchen, linen, towels, etc), rooms a litle bit cold, no possbile to open heat. Excellent location near Cathedral, near metro, fully recomend to travelers.
