Very clean and a perfect location

A friend and I stayed in the 'itica red' apartment, the apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable. The location is great. The kitchen is well equipped for doing your own cooking. We had a great stay!

We stayed for 3 nights and liked this hostel - for a little price it was at excellent place, still it was quite during the night. There were heating problems, but we got more sheets and it was Ok. The staff was really friendly! And breakfast for 2,5 Euro was great too!

Great location, friendly staff.

Everything was excellent. The hostel right in the middle of the Gothic quarter but not in a loud spot, so if you want to party you can, and if you want to sleep without a party waking you up, you can. Breakfast is not free, and doesn't have much to it, but everything else about the place was great. Wonderfully decorated, flawless wifi, nice chill-out room and comfy beds with optional insulation (a light comforter with a blanket if you need extra warmth. You even get your own locker with key.

I stay with my friend at the 3 bedrooms apartment that is in an other building than the hostel itself. It is a perfect place to stay: all new and clean, wide bedroom, perfect location (in the very centre but very quiet place), nice kitchen (may be a little tight if the 3 bedrooms are busy but it was not the case when we went). The main positive points: Value for money/ location.

8 beds room turned to 10 beds room and it's awful!! In a room each has free locker and it's awesome. Other things were fine. 'Green' shower really annoys. Breakfast was good for this price, but don't expect for 2,5 euro something else except coffee, cereals and toast. Location is awesome close to La Rambla and another attractions, once you found hostel. I spend about 30 mins to find it.

Exactly what I was looking for; great location, facilities were excellent, staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Had a really great time. Its really the perfect location to shop and see the city, right in the heart of everything. The staff - nouria, cristina, sergi, younes, sarah - were all amazing, and its great value for money and great way to enjoy barcelona.

If u love the SMELL of WUNDERBAUM, this is a place for u! We booked 2 nights (6 bed dorm) but stayed only 1. The nite was so frustrating n awful cos others didnt seem to care if someone was trying to sleep. We went to sleep after midnite but people were going n coming n banging safety lockers whole night. No air-con in the rooms -> in the morning there is quite pleasant smell of an old liquor mixed to wunderbaum. I threw up twice due to odor and moved to hotel next door. Only location is good.

Good hostel, close to las ramblas. Comfortable beds, nice and spacious rooms.

Not quite the hostel I expected from the ecstatic reviews, but definitely good and in a very good location - some walking involved if you come by train, and you need good directions. The staff helpful but stressed at New Year - I was grateful because I wanted to leave Barcelona early.

hard to find. the room is big and just fine to have a rest.

Feels like home

The staff were aout of this world, so friendly, helpfull and welcoming. I would and will return and will be telling anyone I know who wahts to travel there to head straight to Itaca!! The location could not have been better....the whole experience of staying there was... AWESOME!!!

It was perfect : the staff is very nice, the place is clean and the location ideal.

This is one of the best hostels I've stayed in. The rooms were very clean, and had huge lockers (big enough for a small suitcase). The beds were comfy and the room was warm. The bathroom was good, and cleaned all the time. Fresh towels every few hours in the bathroom. The breakfast is 2,50 euros but its worth it! The location is unbeatable - right next to the cathedral. I would definitely recommend it.
