Best hostel ever!. We got the Red flat, which is basically a lovely flat with 4/5 bedrooms and a common kitchen and living roo,. It has a lot of space and is super clean. The only bad thing is that is has no elevator and you have to carry your luggage though the stairs. The red Flat is just 2 blocks away from the main Itaca building, which is great, has a lot of useful info, free luggage storage and computers with free internet. I highly recommend this hostel, it feels like home!

Stayed in the "Red Itaca" apartment. Very new and nice, plenty of breakfast until close to midday. Would be happy to stay here again. Nice and quiet.

We enjoyed our nights there. The staff were friendly and very helpful with advice, even telling us which museums were free right then, enabling us to visit two and saving us the entrance fees. Breakfast was good, and the rooms were clean and had sizable lockers. The internet signal was strong, and there were free computers available. We highly recommend this hostel!

Hi, The Itaca Hostel is great place to live in Barcelona. The location is perfect - close to La Rambla and the beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful. If I returned to Barcelona one day I would choose Itaca Hostel once again :))) Monika

Loved staying at Itaca. We stayed in the Red Apartment which was a little walk from the main hostel area, but loved it. Felt like staying in an actual apartment with lots of space and facilities to use. Very clean and liked having fresh towels in the morning. Good location and felt very secure, and the breakfast was great! Staff were very friendly and helpful - thanks Itaca!

Staff great, super helpful! Few hooks outside of in bathroom (outside of shower) would be good. Lockers not great, thry have shelf so u cant get ur whole pack in (which also makes room more crowded with packs everywhere -not a mega issue but if I was there longer than a night I think that would be annoying). Location fantastic! Would def stay here again :-)

Overall this was a very nice hostel to stay in. The location as great, the staff were very kind and helpful, and the beds were really great compared to other hostels I've stayed in. Thanks for helping make my Barcelona trip fun and stress free!

Nice hostel with unique lobby decoration. Clean bed and pillow with locker in the room. Free luggage storage in the lobby, WiFi and breakfast. Nice staffs. There were communal toiletries provided by the hostel or maybe other travellers. Location is very central. The direction given to reach the hostel in the email booking was not good. It is better to get off at Jaumee metro instead of Placa Catalunya from Barcelona Sant. I had a pleasant 3 nights stay there.

Super cute hostel!!! Nice decoration! Free internet and super helpful staff! Really easy to walk to anywhere from there really! I'd say the only thing is that there are only 2 showers, so you got to arrange yoru schedule not to be waiting and so. Other than that it was a LOVELY stay!!

It's a great hostel and this was our first hostel experience so I'm glad I chose it. As it was my first time in a hostel, I did not know what the rules are on making noise at night. On the final night our neighbours woke us up at 3 pm and the noise did not stop until 4am whih is when they finally went to bed. I was not sure if it's typical or not so did not say anything to them and we did not complain but it would be good to know if such behaviour is allowed or not.

Itaca was a great play to stay in Barcelona! The play was centrally located to the old part of the city and Las Ramblas, and it was very clean. The beds were also very comfortable. My only complaint is that the Wifi was a little spotty upstairs and the lounge room closes at 11pm every night. But it was a fun place to stay and I definitely recommend it to others!

Very nice hostel. Clean, cool atmosphere, friendly staff and great location just 10 minute walk from Las Ramblas. The Taverna around the corner is very nice too.

We had a very easy say here, we didn't have any complaints except a couple I loud American girls in the room next to us the last night who kept us up. Other than that the hostel was great te girl at reception took the time to tell us about the city and give us some tips. Would stay here again.

Located in the heart of Barri Gotic which gives you great restaurant/bar/cafe options. 5 minute walking to bus or train. Private double bedroom very nice, located in a different building from dorms; but only 1 minute away. Great privacy, shared bathroom; clean, and organized. Free wifi and breakfast. Great coffee and fresh bread! Room a little cold on cold nights. And, a bit noisy from the street below. Front desk service very attentive; available 24 hrs. Great place to stay; we will return!

Charging for a room with a locker, and then not providing a locker (the excuse being they had no key for that locker as the person before me had lost it. However, the hostel should always ensure they have spare keys for lockers, since they are charging clients for lockers). As a consequence, I had belongings stolen from the dorm room. As I was not provided with a locker. In addition to this, there was no acknowledgement on the behalf of Itaca, that they had made an error (by failing to ensure th
