even though this is a hostelling international hostel, there was no real backpackers' 'scene' - it felt more like a Pousada.nice to have fridge in room tho. We were in a 4 bed (1 single plus a very high triple bunk) that would have been very uncomfortable with more than the two of us that were there at the time. quiet location,good variety at breakfast but why water down the juice??
