This hostel included everything I could have ever wished for!! The location was absolutely fantastic, in the middle of THE bar street of Mendoza: Aristides! The staff was wonderful and made you feel right at home. I arrived in the morning but after the time of breakfast, but they offered me a nice cup of coffee anyways. Good breakfast, loads of tours to offer, a really nice restaurant next to the hostel where you get a great discount as a guest and the best BBQ in Mendoza! Don’t miss it!

Clean toilets, very nice outdoor area and free private lockers. Friendly and warm staff who helped me book tours and bus tickets! Great bar attached to the hostel (loved the "mojito tasting!") All in all, good value for money. Don't miss the asado!

I booked a night here over Easter weekend and arrived at 1am to be told I would need to check out at 10am the next day as they had no room the next night (fair enough, my bad), David on reception had no suggestions of any other hostels I could look at, so I spent a couple of tiring hours trying to find somewhere else to stay. The hostel was noisy, with not enough lockers, I had no blanket on my bed, the breakfast was poor, toilets too far away from dorm. DON'T DO IT.

Nice outside areas, great big Bathrooms, a bit noisy because of the party area right outside the door, but excellent location. Very helpful and friendly staff, waiting time for breakfast is mostly very long, even if there are no other people. Very good Asado at Damajuana, but it's not all you can eat, for people who like to eat a lot! ;-) Great to stay for a while, I've stayed almost a week.

The hostel looks nice on the outside but the facilities it has were actually a lot less than we had expected. We stayed in the 16 bed dorm, which was fine but for the price you pay the bed is not even made for you. The kitchen is tiny and has very limited facilites and the bathrooms were mixed with gaps in between the doors so you could see out (or in). Breakdfast was okay but coffee and juice were poor quality. No card payments available meaning we had to go out at 1.30am to find cash.

It's a bigger hostel located on one of the main streets - Aristides. There are a ton of bars, clubs, and restaurants nearby that get extremely busy later at night - don't worry, the noise doesn't get to the hostel at all. We stayed in a private room, and although it was nice enough, the door and lock were terrible. We had to exchange keys because ours wasn't working and the door had clearly been kicked in before. Pool was nice to have on a hot day. Plenty of excursions to try also!

Staff seemed to be incapable of handling anything correctly. Facilities are ok. Breakfast is in the restaurant attached to the hostel, it's ok but not plentiful. Hardly any common areas to meet people and hence no atmosphere at all. The location is fine and it's fairly cheap.

Location and Security good but the hostel has a bad vibe. Sewage pipe cracked stinking up the joint, slow staff, crappy breakfast.

Really friendly and helpful staff at Itaka make it a great place to stay in Mendoza. It's located a few blocks from an enormous park, and the road is full of bars, restaurants and interesting shops.

Everything was good, except that someone stole my towel... Maybe the maids or maybe someone hosted there.

The hostel had a great atmosphere, a bit patio and a pool, all added to the enjoyment.

The hostel is in a great location, but I had reserved a private room with private bathroom and when I got there, they only had shared bathroom and the receptionist look annoyed when I pointed it out and said: it`s not possible to guarantee that. Which is weird because, in my concept, that`s what a reservation is for. My room was smelling like somebody had smoked there. Breakfast is ok.
