We really enjoyed our stay at this hostel. Staff were very helpful when one of fell ill. organised everything for us including doctors, buses, flights and points of interest in the area. the restaurant attached was also very nice with great food and friendly staff. we would definitely stay here again.

A great hostel, in a perfect location with lots of great amenities. Only draw back was that it was a little pricey and there was nothing going on around the hostel at night - which was a complete surprise, as it is set up so well and looks like it could be a ton of fun.

Party hostel, don't plan to sleep! We stayed for 3 days and left exhausted. The staff is friendly, organized and spoke some English. Common areas were clean, there was a pool table and outside was a pool. The kitchen outside was very large and clean. Matrimonial room had a temporary door and the window shutter wouldn't open, felt like prison. Outside there are very large speakers that blasted music late and the restaurant attached blasted music at 6am. Breakfast wasn't very good.

For the last two months I have travelled three countries and stayed in twelve hostels to be exact. Itaka Hostel in Mendoza is without a doubt the best one! Great place to meet people, friendly staff, great at organizing tours around Mendoza and the cleaners are always visible and doing a great job. The location is excellent and the asado nights on Mondays and Fridays are yummi! :)

Only stayed upstairs above reception in the private rooms one with a private bathroom and one with a shared bathroom. They were both great and clean... I am unsre why others are saying that it was dirty but spend a little extra and stay upstairs it's awesome. Great people, amazing location to go out the street is awesome. This has been a highlight of the trip. DO the BBQ's they throw AMAZING and MR HUGO bike wine tour and you will have a bast!

We were looking to stay at another hostel after many hours of viewing on the internet. However our cab dropped us off in the opposite part of town.... We went to Itaka to use the internet and have a drink and loved the people and were enticed. We were looking to stay in mendoza for 2 days and ended up staying 6 because the people and hostel were awesome! Bbq-ing with your friends out back with drinks/ location is the best. The bbq and everything is so great! Stay here or Damajuana hostel!!!!

This hotel was okay. It was a bit dead when I arrived but more people ended up coming a few days after. It's a really nicely set up hostel and the events it had were pretty good (especially the wine tour!). The only thing I really had a gripe was the bathroom. It's ridiculously small and gets dirty really easily

Really nice, relaxing place. However, for our dorm breakfast was not included in the price and cost us an extra 20 pesos each day.

Very nice place to stay. Recepcionists were great and people staying there also. We didnt have any problem, I really reccomend it. The hostel is very functional and has everything you need. The only thing to solve is that the pool must be a little bit clean.
