Staff were welcoming and happy to chat Rooms were stuffy but typical of hostel Good vibes from the people that stayed there. A nice sense of community in the kitchen area. Considered a bit of a party place but at midnight we were asked to go elsewhere-local pub Wifi connection was great, also computers with printing option were handy Nice street-close to metro and other important sights Directions:I accidentally went to the Ivanhoe hotel next door which I think is a common mistake.

This hostel was amazing. Stayed in my fair share of hostels and this is at the top. Staff are amazing, free cocktail and sometimes even free pasta at night. It's a loud hostel until midnight with music playing and everyone socializing. Worst thing about it is being kicked out from 11-4 for cleaning. This is a very Long time to not be allowed in when you're paying to stay here. Also the bedrooms were tiny with to many beds stuffed in. Only 3 lockers for 6 bed room which also sucked.

I loved this hostel! Ali greeted us with cold orange juice at the door and invited us for free spaghetti dinner. Facilities are nice and it has a social and fun vibe. Girls room has it's own bathroom and the shower was hot and had good pressure. 5 minutes to Termini and the colosseum, I'll be back!

Don't get scared by the entrance! The hostel is very good! A lot of hostels in Rome are just big apartments in residential buildings. It is normal there.

There is no key for a room . It means everyone can get into. And it's too small room for 6people . There is hall just front of door . There is no private at all. The hall can b dinner table at night and common area too.

Fun place, great staff, amazing location 5min from collosseum and 10 from train station. Very cramped place, no extra space, but isn't really a problem unless the place is full. Definitely a party hostel, but staff is extremely good at getting all the revelers out by midnight, so if you want to sleep you can.

The location is great. The facilities are small, which only makes it easier to meet people. The rooms, kitchen, and bathrooms are clean. The staff is very fun and usually offer free food or drinks on different nights. I would definitely stay at Ivanhoe again.

Good location close to the Colosseum and on a quaint little street with cafes etc. It is very much a party/loud hostel and so if you like to go to bed early then this place isn't for you! People can check in at any time so I was woken often in the night. Also well located near Termini station... overall an OK hostel.

Very nice hostel and staff. That's a place I was looking for since many years. The opportunity to meet new people and go out at night. There was also free cocktail and disco party. Absolutely worth the money.

Amazing location. Helpful and friendly staff. Our only complaint is that there might be a corpse rotting in the bathroom of the room we stayed in.

Good hostel. A little bit loud at night which it seemed was more to benefit the owners then the guests at times, but still a great deal. Clean and certainly a great price.

Great hostel, would recommend. Good vibe, fun staff. Nightly events were a fun way to meet people. And while it's a "party hostel", they're really good at making sure the party quiets down at midnight so people can still sleep. Free computer access; free wifi; great location right by the metro and the major attractions; clean; 2 euros for decent breakfast. Downsides: no lockers or locks on doors, so just carry your valuables on you. Ensuite bathroom kind of smelled and showers were ALWAYS cold.
