It is a small hostel, but that is why the pasta evenings were so nice. Everyone in the hostel is coming together and you can meet a lot of other travelers. The negative points were that the rooms are a bit small, there is not enough place to put the suitcases and bags of everyone and it is noisy in the hostel because it is that small. But I knew that last thing already, so I did not mind. But overall it was a super hostel with great staff.

The common events every evening (pasta & cocktail parties) create a very nice atmosphere that you are missing in most other Italian hostels. you get to know very well other people though this. great location, very nice and helpful staff cleanliness was not great, but ok, especially for the very low price

Staff were fine and kind when we checked in. We found the people to be the best part of the whole experience. Met people from all over the world who we then were able to party and get to know. Highly recommend this hostel.

I really enjoyed Rome by staying in this hostel because it was ın the center so it was so easy to see around the whole Rome besıdes the people in there were like a family thats why I felt quıte secure in there, even one night there was a spaghetti party altogether:)

Nice hostel but only if you like to party. Very good atmosphere, everyone is friendly but it is only reccommended to young people who like to party. If you want to sleep and visit the city during the day it may not be the best option.

Great location being close to the train station as well as the attractions like the coliseum. Only down fall are the beds which are not very comfortable.

I had a wonderful time in Ivanhoe hostel. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Hostel is clean and has a big kitchen. Free internet/Wi-Fi and the great location. The staff cooked for the entire hostel free food and free booze plus night out party (also free). A great place to meet wonderful people from all around the world. I will be back for sure soon.

positives: the location (you are in the center a few steps from the metro and the Colosseum), the price, the staff is available to help you out if you have any problem. downsides: the hostel is not very clean. There are few bathrooms without windows, and rooms seem like bunkers. but if you use the hostel as a base for a couple of days, I would say that it can fit. you have to adapt in practice! If you pay little you can't expect too much!!

The WORST hostel i lived ( lived in 15-20 hostels/hotel in this year) Some of the reviews are RIGHT, I should not go there because of saving MONEY. 1. the staff were really strange, and unfriendly. 2. the hostel was very DIRTY, and OLD. 3. the bed had is dirty.
