very basic, similar to a backpackers, our drain did not work including the toilet not flushing, mattresses were soiled as were pillows, cannot recommend this place except for close location to main town centre

The rooms were not cleaned throughout the stay and they desperately need updating. the staff were friendly however.

Just had a really lovely stay at Ivy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating with our needs, helping us to find tuktuks and book buses. The dollar tapas are absolutely delicious and it was a very chill place to hang out. The only cons are that our door was always jammed and difficult to open, and that it was about a 7 minute walk from Pub Street (not necessarily a bad thing though!). Would definitely recommend.

Nice, atmospheric hostel in a quiet street within walking distance of the busy market area. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the food they served was great. They also serve cheap cocktails but they contain very little alcohol. Curiously, my room was never cleaned durin the 4 days I spent here.

I was not lucky as there was a power cut the day I arrived... so no lights and no fan. But the staff was nice although a bit nervous and didn't charge for the room. Otherwise, the location is good and you can rent bicycles from an NGO for 2USD per day.

I didn't realize I had to pay a $2 booking fee and thought I was getting a room with AC. I was mislead and paid extra. Great place for drinks and food.

Lovely homely guesthouse with great friendly staff. They arranged my tuk-tuk driver efficiently for three days at Angkor (if they offer you Mr Bun-ny then jump at it, he's amazing!), and were helpful with arranging onward bus tickets. The bar area was really nice to relax in with a beer after a hard day's templing, the food was always excellent, and the room was spacious and clean. The only negative point was the bathrooms tend to attract mosquitos, but to me that was a minor problem.

Nice place, friendly staff, amazing food! Try the veggie menu! About the rooms; they are getting old. It's fine, but old.

Friendly staff, but don't expect more information but the prices of their trips. Good food and a short walk to center of town.

We booked through Hostel World, paid a deposite to you guys and when we arrived at ye hotel they had no reservation for us. We had a booking reference number but they still had no booking. Hostel World should confirm that guesthouses have rooms before taking money from credit card. Feel free to contact me regarding a refund of my money. James

Great bar / cafe area and relaxed atmosphere. Close enough to shopping and travel agents, good information for tourists. We stayed only two night so can't tell much more. The common areas of the hostel were much nicer than the room - very simple, but clean and had no troubles with noise, nor mosquitos, and we felt secure.

Nice atmosphere and i guess that lots of guests like the fact that cats are all over the place, and are joining you while you eat in the restaurant. If you - like me - is allergic to cats it is not so nice though. Furthermore we had great difficulties getting the power switches to work - so that it was possible for us to recharge phones, cameras etc. The recommended tuktuk tour of Angkor Wat was great.

I'm sure this place used to be way better than it is today. The rooms are decent, but showers are cold most of the time. Staff is helpful but only to a certain extent - happy to book your boat or bus tickets but not very knowledgeable about the area. I would stay here again if it wasn't for the cold showers.

The situation of this guesthouse is nice: close to the city center, but no noise. The room was big, with both air con and fan. Everything was really nice, but two things. 1. In 5 days of my stay the room was not cleaned at all, so the dust and the sand I brought into it stayed with me all the stay long. 2. The staff was not as smiling as I would expect for a country as Cambodia.
