A very friendly and kind Korean couple have turned a home into a hostel, on a small soi in a great location , less than 10 mins walk to The metro. It can be difficult to find for the first time, though. Rooms are very basic, but clean. One dorm 'room' is not a room. It is totally open on the second floor. There is very little in terms of facilities, but wifi is available. Security is not a priority here as the front door is always unlocked for guests and rooms are not locked inside.

A nice hostel run by really nice Korean folk. I must add though, that the hostel was incredibly difficult to find (it took me 90 minutes to find in a neighbourhood I'm familiar with). There are no signs on the main road directing you to the hostel. There aren't even signs on the front gate - I almost turned out of the little side street to continue looking.

This is by far one the best hostels I have stayed in. The staff is super friendly and they make you feel at home. Within this location you can access other areas in bangkok easily. word of advice makesure you download the map the hostel provides not the google one. Also ask someone at the airport to translate the address in thai to show the taxi driver and the hostel is in back of the hotel that is next to the 711. My experince was awesome!
